I'm the first and only(to my knowledge) in my family, in many generations, to break free of fundamental Christianity. Even though I walked away from the faith, I find it hard not to say "Bless you." when someone sneezes, and I know I am in many daily prayers for my soul. I don't know how to explain my differing views with my family, so we usually just avoid the topic altogether. Unless they're proselytizing, that is. ?
