I have issues with insomnia brought on by anxiety and all of this goes into laying in bed aware of things still in my mind. Some of it is exaggerated by a dream state. Doctors want to give you a drug that knocks you out at bedtime but I could not have this. I have to be aware of what is going on. I see films of real events where you are asleep while someone is in your house. I live alone so I would be aware of this quickly. I hear everything even outside. What helps a lot is to not have the TV on as yo lay in bed, and you might have an hour of gentle music playing real low in the background, then shut off on it's own. They do have "sleep music" for this. I think I only woke up 3 times last night, and I have discovered that if you wake up every 2 hours you will have daytime sleep issues also. A good night's sleep is essential.

It would seem that the GOP is near to reaching fruition. I wonder what will come next?

I agree with you fully on this but we have an age difference. In earlier life I believed in every kind of woo. Today I believe in none. Woo is BS in the same way that gods are BS. People always hint that if I don't "hurry up" and find god or another woman I just might run out of time. LOL My longtime theist friend from age 12 or so thinks it should be a "church woman." Am I worried that I might run out of time? No. Believers have the most ignorant reasons to believe.

Trumpism seems to be bleeding over into the general populace. In fact, Trump is recorded as only telling 56 lies last week. He is improving and the Evangelicals are a big part of this. What doesn't make the news so much is the "prayer breakfasts" that his GOP is having everywhere and these include Mitch McConnell. The impression is that Trump's GOP is just one big happy religious family. This makes it easier for the mainstream media to "overlook" his racist and white supremacist rants and remarks as his defenders claim he is pure as snow in his desires for America. The idea is to make the general public think Trump and his GOP want everything that you want. The setup on this is to hope that Pence follows Trump and America can get its Christian Nation. Do they want everything that you do?** Of course not**. Trump has rescinded Obama bills that would allow a person with mental illness to buy a gun regardless of that illness. Trump is also trying to make it harder for you to sue the doctor if he cuts off the wrong leg in surgery. Of course, Trump says "we will all be happy." We should find the door they came through and show them the way out before they take too many bites.

I agree fully with FFRF on this. Religion has no place in public schools in the first place but they keep playing with this idea and have for years. I suspect that the current administration has a lot to do with this because I saw a PBS program last night on TV that went into great detail about "prayer breakfasts" that were popular now all over. Politics has embraced it fully and even Mitch McConnell is involved. Trump and his GOP are setting it up to get what they want and desire out of the believers. Frankly, it should be against the law. I'm not anxious for Casper the Friendly Ghost to decide things for me. Public schools are also not a place to be told about gods.
