Yes, they accept donations but if we allow this in the context of the OP question we should look for more and more people and companies that seem to be above the law. That means more cops emptying a gun on a man who is walking away and more people dying in police custody or even being shot to death inside their own apartment while the murdering officer claims "he was not following my commands." Remember that the officer in this shooting thought she was inside her own apartment and she was not even on the right floor. Police are the enforcement arm of the mayor but they have to be accountable and kept in control.

I agree with you fully. This got to be such a hot topic in my area that I had to make phone calls to clarify about "voter ID" because it is now a part of Missouri law. I was assured that the ID you will be using is a drivers license so everything will be OK. Since I am a Missourian I'll have to check local DMV's here to see if they are open. I find too many people claiming to be atheist just so they can get away from religious association without feeling the pressure of religion. I'm not talking about those people who have never believed. I'm talking about those who deny existence of gods, then go ahead to believe any other supernatural thing that ever came along. It makes me ask how they would even know what they believe. Such people are like those who believe in all diseases - except one. I often look at them as having a copout position. I'm not going about daily thinking that there is no god, but I do use my new knowledge to fish out how others think. I can be around people just a short time and know if they are theists and to what degree, and I can also detect quickly how racist they are. This goes on into politics and other indoctrinations. I'm sure that every day life exposes him to religion in many ways. I would investigate the local Scouts a bit however. If they are meeting in church or having any activity within a church the answer would be "no." The Scouts teach many things but I would not allow them to be an indoctrination tool.

I do understand where you are coming from. Your "7 minute rule" person might end up getting unfair things put on you and others. I once worked in a factory where a couple came in 15 minutes late all the time. They might explain by saying there was a train or something. This resulted in the company docking you 15 minutes of time if you were late late at all and it got progressive after 5 minutes. If I might offer as bit of advice here, do not throw the printed out consults at your co-worker. Simply give them to her or show her where they are in the computer. Would she look if you told her where to look? I have problems with idiot people too.

I am old enough to know they are imaginary and I hold the fact that I was told they were real against my parents and everyone else that was so afraid and thought they had to have them. I fell for it all hook, line, and sinker. After much study and agony over not becoming a beloved preacher, I finally found the truth in later life. Gods are imaginary. It's very simple. The funny thing is many people look at my age and think I have this all backwards. Walter Brennan was said to be checking into ideas of god late in life. He told people he was not getting any younger. W. C. Fields was once found reading the bible and told others he was "checking it out for loopholes." Yes, you might die soon so you need a safety net. I don't get it. Believing something doesn't make it so. I do know that theists wanted their ideas brought into TV and movies from early on. Maybe we could re-do and old classic and be more accurate. How about "The Sign of the Stake?" Maybe the sign isn't dramatic enough for the religious world. Later on in 1960's TV we could have shows like "Johnny Soko and his Giant Flying Jesus." Johnny would often be on his back and fly with him. Together they would solve world problems and catch the bad guys. Yes, I know, but it is satire.
