What are your weekend plans?

My weekend is exciting. I have all I need here behind closed doors and will do some work on one of my 3 computers, check out social media, watch any movie or TV show that I want to, and get caught up on everything. My phone might ring and I will talk, but if Charlie comes over and knocks at my door I won't let him in and will say he needs to come back Monday. (I will let women in but don't want crying stories or to loan money.) Normally up at 6 AM I can now sleep as long as I want to for 2 days. That usually doesn't work however, and I'll get up and make coffee anyway. Somewhere in the middle of all this I might drink a bottle of Yago Sangria wine. That's for the TV and Netflix time.

I don't know how to respond to this outside of the fact that Anne Frank was a teenage girl living with her family in hiding in Amsterdam. Imagine the turmoil of the times and another family having to hide them as they did, and Anne reacting to all this as a young person would. (1) Do we know much about the mental health of Anne Frank? (2) Would the bizarre situation they lived under cause her to exaggerate or make things up? (3) Would anything similar to this have even helped cause the discovery of the Frank family? Most likely we will never know. Therefore her final diary entry remains a mystery.

Our Kleptocracy government is not through yet and most people continue to drink the kool aid. My insurance lady told me this morning that our area being hit with almost a 40 cent per gallon gas price increase really meant nothing. She says they raised prices because "it's summertime." That type of increase is never this much. I told her the increase is a result of nixing the Iran nuclear deal. All the media says it but she doesn't think so. She further tells me that I'm wrong about Orange Bozo. The media has lied to use now for a very, very long time so she has no concern that Bozo wants to pull the licenses of NBC, ABC, and CNN etc. for being "fake news." The fact remains that she cannot tell you just where Orange Bozo, the Mango Mussolini, gets his news and why Trump news is always the correct news. I know why. Willing To Relocate?

Money would have to stop being in the picture for me to relocate. Either I win the lotto or find a rich woman. Why do I say this? My mortgage is under $200 per month and this is what allows me to thrive on the money that I have. I do very nicely but some people have a monthly mortgage that is more than all my money. At one point I was able to save over $1000 per month. Those days have changed.

If your youngest has a mental illness everyone will be telling him things but his intelligence shows through when he taught himself Hebrew. Remember that being religious does not make you dumb, but religion is taught. It's very possible that you have kids saying "Oh, wow! Mom and dad never taught us this." As for the oldest child now being a born again Baptist, my take on it is that they want to spend their life with this Baptist person. That might be more important to them than any invisible gods.

In the early Merle Haggard days I was listening to his music and "love it or leave it" was a big thing with many of us. America has changed much since then. At least, some of us like to think so. Today the right has said there should be no problems as long as the immigrant "carries his papers" with him. They say this time and again but there are no papers to carry. Homeland Security (before Trump anyway) said that the green card should be safely stored away in a similar manner as we are told to do with our social security cards. People ignore that and we all carry social security cards in our billfold. We move closer all the time to an America where you are stopped and do not have "the right papers" and you are arrested or hauled away. A passport should suffice as enough but you do not have to carry that with you either. Not so long ago people wanted to know if a Native American Congressman had the "right papers." When "Joe Redneck" is the sheriff or deputy and has no knowledge of these things why are we wanting him to enforce them so much? My knowledge on some of these things stems from the fact that I did all the paperwork for my now ex wife and brought her here from Kenya. We were married 12 years and she is now a US citizen complete with passport. VisaJourney (an Internet site) assisted me with their knowledge of the many ways of immigration. What I am writing is valid if you have active paperwork on file with Homeland Security along the lines of the immigration you are seeking. It does NOT apply for someone who simply shows up on American soil.

Of course they are. For starters they cannot talk to you on the phone. It's all texting. Just words on a screen. My 2 daughters are like this. This promotes a general fear of others to a point of not wanting to go to a job interview. Can you imagine hiring words on a screen? This is worse than the banks or loan companies that call you up out of the blue. The dating site people (most likely in Nigeria) who are in love with you in 5 texts. You have to have more social interaction than just words on a screen, and this is just one area of things that makes them more lonely.

My daughter and I were coming back from an event in Texas in my old pickup truck. We were both dressed well and had proper ID. It just so happened that a man had broken out of prison and kidnapped a young girl and stole a pickup that looked like mine. DPS stopped us and there were 2 officers. One was a young kid. He just did not understand why we were NOT the couple they wanted even when the ID's checked out. The older officer apologized to us after he sent the younger one back to the patrol car. There are those that claim our ID could be fake and we could have been the convict and his kidnapped girl anyway. In what time frame? In what reality? In what TV show or movie? I clicked yes to massage for all. I need a good massage. As for marriage it is a personal thing. It has no need really except that governments today allow it as a religious right and only in this respect does it have financial benefits. The church had no rites of marriage until the 1500's. People used to have a celebration in which they announce who is marrying so the community knew which couples were pairing up. Mostly they were male and female, but there were gay couples even back in Roman times. If you like somebody and want to live with them that is your business.

It would be silly to believe we are the only life in the universe. Other life is possibly out there but I don't think that Martians are dropping in. When I became atheist I chose not to believe something without evidence. Aliens and anything supernatural fall into that category because god belief in a biblical sense is supernatural. I have no more evidence of ghosts than I do of devils or gods. Nessie and Bigfoot may be possible, but I have no evidence of them either.

Back in my days of knowing all about the supernatural, friends and I went ghost hunting. For some reason the hunt was at a cemetery way out in the boonies. The 5 of us got out of the car and started looking around the tombstones. Suddenly someone shouted "OMG, look at that" and they all ran for the car so frightened that the driver flooded the car trying to start it. Logic and evidence is all important. I became atheist late in life and knowing just how the bible came into being was a part of all of that. There are no holy books and holy scriptures. Gods did not appear or instruct the writing of any such documents. This shows the whole crap is all made up. Holy books are no more sacred than Harry Potter. They prove nothing.
