Trump and company will likely get the judge they want as McConnell declared previously that they would not let Obama appoint a justice. Saying the position had to be filled immediately they got their way. The current situation is about the same. There is nothing on the books that says Trump and the GOP must wait until after the mid terms to make a selection. We might hope that they are stalled in some way and the selection does not occur until that time but most likely they will proceed. They are in majority and as I see it they have a right to do so. I wish I had better news, but this is the way I see it.

I'm not sure how much of my medical care is coming out of the ACA (Obamacare) but I chose to leave everything alone. I retired and the government pushed us all to let private companies do our medical care. I chose Coventry which is now under the Aetna umbrella. Off and on there have been small charges for prescriptions. For quite some time now most of mine have been totally free. I would have certain co-pay for a surgical procedure. Along came Trump and every effort to kill Obamacare. Constant announcements that the ACA is dead. That doesn't seem to be the case. My phone is going crazy with people wanting me to sign up for this new wonderful healthcare. I refuse and just hang up. Trump promised us cheaper and better healthcare at a decent price. I don't see it. My friends all complain because their healthcare is going up a lot higher. I don't know what they are doing but I simply left mine alone and did nothing. Mr. Trump, where is that "cheaper and more affordable healthcare" that you promised? I don't see it. Been too busy with illegals at the border maybe, or did you just hope people would forget and let you slide on that one? Maybe we will finally get "trickle down" healthcare. Trump fought in court to end the healthcare of his own nephew, so why do people think he will give us access to good healthcare? It just is not happening. Scary, but I take it as something that likely happened because of the current fad of not getting vaccinations. We are leaving ourselves wide open for many diseases today because of this. It's like refusing to put air in your automobile tires. Eventually there is a problem.

Best of luck to you. Even at my age I would do the same if I thought it would help my future. I'm not sure there is enough time, but I am a Vet and could most likely go to college free. Believe it or not you can draw unemployment and go to college almost totally free. My ex did that as a "displaced worker." It's a program that the government has.

He was fired and rightly so. For all those arguing against ideas of racism and thinking I have said Trump has done something outright to people of color, please note that I did not say that. What I did say was that racism exists and is as strong as it ever was. Notice in this link that the boyfriend of the cop's daughter is black. The cop and his daughter are both white. This is the reason the cop really wanted to arrest that black man. He thinks he is protecting his daughter, so he is making shit up. This is called racism, folks. It's plain and simple.

The amazing thing here is that people actually pretend that Trump's tariff deals are designed to help the USA and not to destroy it. A man I went to school with is a big Trump supporter and he says it has already caused some steel makers in America to produce their own steel again. He thinks that is wonderful. Really?
