I agree. Americans went along with this because of a wide belief in the bible as god's word and we openly chose sides trying to look through an interpretation of that book. What we helped create is something that may never get resolved. The situation there is very inhumane for so many people.
Still gross to hear it, for me anyway. Lol

We went from Obama to the Orange Ass when the Kock brothers group made a big push to buy into government because they did not want 8 years of Obama as the trends he set might go on for the next 40 years. They pushed Paul Ryan for the job after Obama's first term and wanted him to run but he declined. Trump patented his MAGA hats and was more than ready to step in. Hillary blundered things with the DNC and lots of disgruntled voters went with the Orange Ass. I think one viewpoint was if you get Hillary you have Bill Clinton again. Nobody knew that Agolf Twitler would sing constantly like a songbird and make every issue all about him, or that he would tell close to 5000 lies in 2 years.

DenoPenno replies on Oct 30, 2018:
@Trajan61 According to Snopes, Ford's GoFund Me page raised over $540,000 (not "a million".) However, Kavanaugh also had a GoFund Me page which has raised over $600,000 for him. But if your point is that at least one of these people made hundreds of thousands of dollars after lying, I suppose you are correct. But another question is, who had more to lose by telling the truth? Most of the money raised was spent on legal fees for both sides and there is no proof that Ford took a million dollar book or movie deal. Now ask yourself what such a high dollar deal for Ford or Kavanaugh would prove or bring out that we do not already know? Would any such deal change the opinions or the outcome? I hardly think so, and I would never fund such a deal. It would just be lost money.

DenoPenno replies on Oct 27, 2018:
@JackPedigo It may exceed that here. One ad claiming to come to your rescue if you have maxed out your credit card avoids telling you that you still have all that debt and then some. Chances are you only had one payment to the credit card anyway, so how did you help yourself here?

As of now, 8 dead. I'm predicting thoughts and prayers. Let's see, a white guy came into a synagogue yelling "all Jews must die." Police are still investigating the motivation behind the shooting.

I think all of you are hitting this right on the head. Accepted talk to explain it will fall right along the lines of your answers. Of course, Bozo will claim it was the fault of media while non-praying people keep sending those thoughts and prayers. Today I'm a man who doesn't even believe that the religious send "thoughts and prayers."

@FrayedBear Yes, of course. Clinton, Obama, CNN and the like did this to themselves just to get bad press for the mean old monster right before the elections. I sure wish I could have figured that out. Maybe it was George Soros again because he has these "devious ways and his own agenda."
Are we all generally aware of the diff in Atheist and Agnostic?
DenoPenno comments on Oct 24, 2018:
Yes, more times than you want to know. The problem here is that when you state 100 percent that there is no god you have shifted the burden of proof to yourself and you must show evidence. There is no evidence either way.
DenoPenno replies on Oct 24, 2018:
@Rob1948 Seems to me that I just said that but in different words. Matt Dillahunty says that when you state 100 percent that there is no god someone might want you to produce proof. DenoPenno replies on Oct 23, 2018:
Yes there was and it was the first time Trump wanted to make a big deal out of people crossing our border. No big event at the time but Trump called it as so and later his base looked at it again thinking just maybe Trump was right. He called out the National Guard. What better timing for Trump to be right again and prove he is strong on defending our borders than right before the mid term elections in November. This can be taken as a sort of visual instruction on voting for the GOP. Perfect timing for the message. Trump can call out the military for an extra effect. Pictures are so much stronger than words. The irony here is that Trump blames Democrats and on another post about this right here at Agnostic one man told me this seemed like the works of liberal millionaire George Soros to him. Really. Why would Soros want to play right into Trump's hands? Wouldn't that make Soros a Republican?
