Though I consider myself leaning more towards atheism, I cannot use that word around my family or church yet. In my circle, an atheist is someone who is not to be trusted, siding with the devil, misled, not reading their Bible or is bitter against God. For now, I call myself agnostic.

No contemporaries of that time list either event at all, and it leaves us with no date of death or resurrection. Jesus can resurrect yearly up to 2 weeks apart in time. So, what is the problem?

@JackPedigo I see your point and both you and your wife are doing a noble thing. What I refer to is the horrible deaths that so many of us have in the end and funeral homes pushing their "death with dignity" thing by throwing a little more money at it. They bring god into the picture to justify all this. When the local funeral home found out I'm atheist the owner told me he didn't "have enough faith to be atheist." My mother did not have an easy death and it had no dignity.

You do have the free will to be raped. The rapist also has the free will to do the raping. The big problem with "free will" is that believers claim so desperately that you have to have it in order for their god to save you because it is supposed to be entirely your choice. It is so important to them and religion in general, but this same god knows in advance how everything is going to turn out, but he doesn't want a single one to perish. @Liberty Crucifixion was a method of execution. Many people may have been executed during the time Jesus was supposed to have lived but there is no proof of a biblical Jesus being executed at any time. An audience before Pilot and a big to do about the whole affair, even a soldier declaring the dead man was "the son of god", and then a special burial in a tomb. There is no public record at all of this and if it happened there should be. Instead we have nothing. What is pagan? The term "pagan" is used to describe any religion other than your own.

They gave mine back immediately and kept hers until I said "she's with me" and they gave hers back also. The attorney upstairs was nice and kind and did not even charge for his advice and notary services. He might have been wrong in pegging me as UK (my real last name would make you think that) but he guessed my wife's tribe immediately. I found that Kenyans have a unique ability to do that just by watching and hearing others. One thing to get used to there is that you see police and soldiers carrying weapons. @Cast1es Jack was a short man and had a top weight of less than 180 lbs. He was the "Godfather of Fitness" and did many feats of strength every year on his birthday up until he was 70 years old. He lived his image and was not just for show. His daily workouts included an hour of circuit training with weights followed by an hour of swimming in his pool. One of his feats was a swim form Alcatraz while handcuffed. On a TV show called "You Asked For It" Jack once did 1000 pushups non-stop. Not too many people can do that. In my top form days I once hit 250 and could do no more.

@William_Mary You have some very good points that I agree on. For one thing, I see both political parties having some split within and not knowing what to do. That part is really scary. Hating Trump is a natural with me. His tweets are the biggest lies of contradiction I have ever seen. As for Facebook, don't sell their influence short. They have changed since the election but they had posts by trolls who wanted everyone to favor Trump. You have to consider how many in America read things in Facebook. This is why I say Hillary did not sabotage her own campaign. She did, however, have an iron control that hurt the entire DNC and they were caught off guard. Put it all together and Trump won by electoral vote.

@William_Mary I don't have the link but there is a list of Mueller charges for most people he has investigated and is taking to court so far. These people want to make plea deals.. Trump wants to make plea deals. That's what his lawyers are doing when it is plain they do not want Trump answering questions in front of Mueller. What are they afraid of? Is the orange man going to incriminate himself? Most likely he would. Now the GOP claims his revoking of security clearances is because Trump found out about this deep plot against him and wants to stop Mueller's investigation. People forget that Trump just might be angry. I think he is angry and afraid. He vows to destroy those who are against him. Who's going down here? It's people that have surrounded Trump. The man won't just STF up and let Mueller do his investigation. That's what the rest of us should do too. When it comes to Trump I keep hearing building and changing lies daily and most of those are from his supporters.
