In my area of Missouri a man I know claimed the 5G towers were being torn down in the UK because those people all knew 5G carried the Corona virus and it was controlled through cell phones. You have to understand Trumpers and QAnon to get this. Then suddenly we got 5G technology in America and people got new phones and all of the crazy nonsense stopped. 5G is OK now. What really went on in my opinion is that Trump did not like where this technology came from. He made that well known and the nonsense began. Even when he got Covid he said he had the "China flu." Rather than do anything about the virus a big push was on to find where it came from and that meant blaming China. Some of this is still going on.
