Good question. It's coz they "have their doubts" about god and religion. Remember that the Christian has this "hope" of eternal life in Jesus. It is a "hope" because nobody knows for sure.

Yes, it was US who helped crucify Jesus and nail him to a cross. Poor Jesus. He probably got nailed more than anybody else and it hurt him the most. I think they used extra nails on him. As an ex-Pentecostal I have heard that same very remark. It shows how ignorant they are. Jesus had no bibles. People did not "talk strange" in those days, and the remark about a loved one dying and they say "god needed another angel" is straight out of 1900. I am so glad I got away from them.
