I'm sure that end of it is hard for many in this time now of wanting protection from anything different than you. My oldest daughter is 50 and came over recently for a movie night. I talked to her of my political activism, showed her live news from all over the world, and she was overwhelmed. Her view is that if she had all this in her head she would go insane. The irony is that she lives in a world of all drama and to be able to cope and have protection she went back to her belief in an invisible god and a living Jesus. I hear ya. My back problems are not even solved with an inversion table. What I did this morning helped a lot. Lay down on your bed flat on your back. Raise one leg with the knee coming towards you face and pull the knee towards your chin with both hands. Lower that leg and do the same with the other leg. Alternate back and forth with this as an exercise. I do it and hear a "clunk" sound as I lower my leg. After a while the clunk is gone and I feel so much better all over. It is a safe stretching exercise.

Once I understood that 300 plus years after the time of Jesus was when we got our bible as we know it today none of it made any sense anymore. Who wrote what and when they wrote it all went down the drain. Just today at my work 2 men were joking about who would go to heaven or hell. Looks like murder to me. So, a man is running away from you and after you shoot him dead you find out he had a gun. Not before, but after. I applaud the mother of the murdered man for not claiming to forgive and telling it like it is. Then we have these officials who are "praying" and their prayers "go out to" someone. Yes, they claim to be Christian but they are also lying. There is no praying. The bad thing here is that this cop will be put in a special section of prison in order to prevent him from being killed for this murder. I see lies and no justice.
