DenoPenno replies on Apr 20, 2022:
I can't say for sure on Covid. Corky died last month in our local hospital. I did not get a cause of death. Peg had terminal cancer I am now told. Years ago Henry drove me and others to work at Chrysler and he was said to be 80 and died in a nursing home 16 miles away. Don is now another story. We hung around for years and I took him in twice when he was down and out. When Trump was elected Don became such a stupid follower that I refused to be friends with him any longer. He made me so damned angry that I just wanted to go into a cussing fit. His political leanings favored the Klan and gunning down those who would cross our border with Mexico. Gun them down and let them lay, he said. I cussed him out one day and told him to never come to my house again. I don't think he really believed me. Don's beliefs were kind of like Stephen Miller. I heard he asked about me once. He asked my next door neighbors. They found him dead at his place and said he was dead at least 3 days. That would have made him pretty ripe. It isn't that I have "lost" these people. It's just that their ages are closer to mine and they are people that at one time or another shared part of my life. If I knew you at all you are part of my memory and I should be a part of yours. The fact that we live in our own minds means the memories are not the same. I'm reclusive and misanthrope like but I see people like characters in a movie. It's my movie but from your side it would be your movie. I knew Don for over 40 years I guess. We never discussed politics until Trump came along.
