Other than just words on a paper how would Trump pardon himself? How would that work and has anyone ever legitimately done it before. Probably not and it will be a big mistake. If you do have a desire to pardon yourself it means you think that you have committed crimes.

I believe this pandemic has really exposed the religious for what they are.

The pandemic in my area of the USA has branched into people dying that had ailments that would kill them anyway. Religious Trumpers explain carefully that there are 4 to 5 strains of this virus and they go through it with you like a doctor. It does not matter that too many people have died of what they call flu, it is just suddenly that these other ailments are there kicking in to kill you. Nobody died of COVID-19. That is not what kills people. Trump has declared we have rounded the curve on this so we have victory over it now and it "is what it is." You can tell by the use of this phrase in my area what people secretly believe. My view is that they are nuttier than a fruitcake.

I've been thinking about this whole sacrifice thing...

In the extreme most men of this type actually believe that a no and a yes mean just the opposite of each other. This is why many do not understand rape or why a man would be tried for it. I do get some of this. I'm not sure of a matrix however because it seems more likely to have come out of the movie and is just science fiction. Here's where the truth hits me. Just today a friend and I are discussing the universe. He asked me what I thought was on the other side. I asked him what he meant by other side. Since this guy is a Christian the "fishbowl" idea came into our talk and he says look at the universe as a fishbowl. What's on the other side? I told him I do not know and my believe is that an endless universe does not have to have fishbowls or other sides. There are no directions as we know them in the universe and it could just go on forever. There does not have to be an end. There may be continuous recycling going on but never an end. The strange thing to me on this is that Christians invented the "fishbowl" to explain to us how their god is in another universe like being in another fishbowl. God can pop into our fishbowl and then back into his own fishbowl and we have no evidence of it. In this way they think they have protected their god from us. How would this be? How would such a preposterous thing even be known to anybody?

My T day will be alone without any special cooking. I'm still holding out in ideas of finding a woman I can take to dinner somewhere but I don't know who that would be. What should I do? Maybe go into a couple of fast food places and find a gal sitting alone looking gloomy and say "Hey Tootsy. Wanna out and eat - I'm buying?" Years ago I took a woman to dinner and when she shook up the ketchup the lid came off the bottle. There is always the option of staying home and watching TV.

OMG! I read her 5 reasons and it is all so damned lame! Who could possibly believe the reasons? It makes little sense. What it means to me is that she was raised without god belief (even though she calls it atheist) then later on she discovered religion for the first time and took off with it. Religion seemed to satisfy the "hunger" that she had inside. OK for her but not OK for me, and I have also been there.
