Subjectively: if a bank robber robs a bank, it is because there is money in it and he gets money. Objectively: it is wrong, because he does not have the right to take someone else's money. What do perverts get from children? They don't look like sex objects. And from what I have seen, in this very twisted world, a person is even required to "respect" the weirdoes. They have "rights". @Marionville You 'got it'! Even the Second World War: 'in the movies' John Wayne led the US military and he and it saved the world. When Hitler started the Barbarossa Campaign more German troops were diverted east than west. At least that is what I have repeatedly read. Russia won the war, whether we like that or not. Germany- and Japan have learned from their defeat- that war is not nice or fun. Right now Angela Merkel is the only adult 'in the room'. The US learned from the war too- or should I say, "their war and murder industry"- there is big profit to be made in war.

@Robecology It may give you a tremendous shock to know that I agree with most of what Dawkins has to say. I will also add to that, he falls down when he attempts to produce another 'brainy quote'- which at times seems to be his priority. I saw a TV clip, many years ago, of the Canadian, Marshall McLuhan; he too was attempting to be profound. He was making an ass of himself. He was mumbling gibberish; even the supposed non-intellectual reviewer noticed this. To me, as dull witted as I am, and talking about "eye brows", anyone who would stare through the hair of their eye brows, needs to find the light switch----- and turn on the light. And of me: I know nothing and if I have ever learned anything, by accident, I have forgotten it long ago. I guess that would make me a prime candidate for president of the US.

We eventually talked about the local morons on the road. I had a half-wit pull a stunt on me recently. He said, that when they tail-gate him, he just pulls over to the side of the road and lets them pass. Ya! That just puts off the situation for today- where in another while, they may get a person unexpectedly and he/she will get killed. A person can only back up so many times, and so far, and eventually there is neither time or space to back to.
