I grew up traveling around the world with my parents, going to school in 12 different countries. I returned to Australia to go to uni at ANU in Canberra, where I did a BA, I then moved to Brisbane and did a Masters whilst working in a bakery. I then went to PNG (where I had finished school) and worked in the international development / aid industry. After a year in PNG I returned to Australia, soon after I moved to South Korea where I taught English as a second language, I stayed in Korea for almost 10 years, I then spent a short time training primary school teachers in Bangladesh on an ausaid project. Then back to Australia where I continued to teach ESL - until I decided to go back to Uni and do a Post Grad Dip Education secondary schools
