Way too long my friend, Much too long. Very interesting topic thought. Whales sleep with one half the brain. Dolphins also, They have to keep their brain alert for danger. We, the human , evolved allowing both sides of the brain too sleep but we are able to recognize a disturbance and wake with alertness. All species sleep but can we distinguish thought. The octopus has more brain power than humans. They are always alert but also need to rest. They learn, think ahead and can compute environment within seconds.

We all feel or felt that way. I have dated a ton in my life, Married twice, divorced twice. Now is my late 60's I realize that the search for "the one" depends who is searching. When I was younger I thought the one was the one because I felt that special feeling. Not true. IT is what I am willing to do regarding myself. I now realize that many times I just believed because I wanted too. I was not able to be my real self, I did not know my real self. Now in the proper state of mind I see that listening to the real voice in your head is the answer, but you must be willing to listen to your own rationalization and lies. That is so very tricky. NO need to date hoping to expand your horizons. the old saying that you find them when you are not looking is very true to heart. The key is NOT to be looking and just be yourself. Someone notices the confidence you have in being yourself and that is never not attractive.

So you do not like her, I do and still do. She is the most qualified candidate in history. The Fake news indeed did a number on her but then again it was the people that believed the fake stuff. Such as sex trade, murder, under the table money and so on. It was all fake and with that I look at her record and see she is a fantastic leader. Sorry but I respect her immensely, What a woman she is. As for what we got, Holy shit, I would have taken any republican on the campaign, even Bush over this terrible human being. This is so true. Brazil just fell to the right wingers and Germany is on the threshold itself. What is happening is odd. I believe global population is the main vehicle for this selfishness. Too many people and a fast moving drive to get what you want ignoring the needs of others. Any life form in the grasp of over population goes through the same thing.

To recognize your own lies to yourself. We all have two voices and we actually talk with our selves. I recall when my other voice let me know I was not happy yet I provided rational to defend my other position which included the world around me. But the sacrifice was notable. Always striving to be true to myself brought me into spiritualism , the discovery of who I really am. That oneness includes hearing your own lie. I recall giving a presentation and hated the company I worked for as well as the product. I stood up and just said fuck it to myself and quit on the spot. Wrong move for my family and responsibilities but I KNEW that all would be well if I was truthful with me. And of course it was all well. To detect your own myths and recognize which of the two voices is really you, that is oneness. I am science buff and that knowledge was instrumental in confirming truth. Great question and a lot of thought.
