In my way of thinking weight doesn’t matter. Years ago I dated a lady that weight at least 300 pounds. I never asked. We had a great time. But parted company years ago, but her weight was never an issue.

I lived is Salt Lake City Utah for a number of years as an electrician. The ultra Mormon companies got around the religion question by informing the new applicants that they did contract work at the Mormon temple. Then asked if you had a temple recommend from your Bishop. Needles to say that was the end of the interview for me.

I agree it is a hard concept to comprehend. But it is still a theory. This might be a misconception of what happened but....Fourteen billion years ago the BIG BANG occurred. All matter was compressed into a something the about size of a tennis ball. And now, supposedly, it is expanding at a rate faster then the speed of light, forming a gigantic structure that resembles a long sock. It is hard to believe that all the planets, stars, comets and meteors were compressed that tight. Anyway--- good food for thought.

I was picked out of the crowd at Dirks field at a baseball game one night to pitch from the pitchers mound to home plate. Really hard if you aren’t in practice. I got three tries. Pawn Stars was a joke, totally staged I have a 22 Ruger pistol I used to pawn every now and then. It can get expensive at about 20% interest every month. You can get into a rut because you have to pay the loan or forfeit the pawned item. So when payday came around I paid the loan, then just before payday I would be short again, I had to pawn something. I did make a few good deals on thing like a generator, tools and a 45 pistol. Now I buy stuff at pawn shops and flip them on Craig’s list.

It was our countries God given right to take the land from the Indians because they did not use it to farm, raise cattle, build cities or divert the rivers to irrigate crops. I would like to see a combination two of the last great Republican and Democrat presidents. Namely, Harry Truman and Dwight Eisenhower. The closest we have come to that is Jimmy Carter. His actions speak louder then words. After he served one term as president he went back to Georgia and has built hundreds of houses for Habit for Humanity. I voted for Memorial Day and the Forth of July. I think it is always good to remember those who have past. The Forth is good because it is a summer time holiday and a lot of fun things are going on.
