Could Socialism work in the US? Is Capitalism being spread at the end of a nuclear warhead? This question springs from a recent run in with the powers thay be. . . Why do I need to pay YouTube in order to play videos while using other apps on my phone?

Are the Millenials right and we judge them too harshly?
Violent crime is lower than anytime in my life. I could never have imagined the acceptance of LGBTQ people that we have now when I was young. Is there a chance that this generation has it right and we had it wrong? Just asking questions. . .

Do you have an over riding philosophy that informs all of your decisions or is life a day-by-day thing? Is there an overall meaning to our daily toil or are we merely the collection of our experience and is the meaning to be found in the daily living? For me, as I approach half a century on this earth, I find that I am less interested in whys and more interested in outcomes. As the old cliché goes, the proof is in the pudding. In it's eating. Not in it's mixing.

Was sex more fun when you still believed in original sin?
To all former believers: was sex more fun when you still feared an all seeing, all knowing, wrathful God? For me, agnostic sex is still awesome, but without the fear of eternal damnation, it's not as risky or exciting. I also got a kinky thrill thinking the old guy in the sky was floating on a cloud, judging me. Thoughts?

Humor is a very important part of my life. I enjoy reading posts by groups like FSM. Yet, in my real life daily interactions with the humanist, skeptic, agnostic, atheist, etc . . . community, I find a real lack of humor when it comes to discussing religion, or lack thereof. I've met a bunch of really great and smart people but none have a sense of humor to match. Am I the only one who notices this?
