But the real rate of survival is about 12% for cardiac arrests that occur outside hospitals and between 24% and 40% for those that happen in the hospital, according to the report published online July 13 in the Emergency Medicine Journal." "For the new study, Bandolin's team surveyed 500 emergency department patients and their companions. Fifty-three percent said they had done or witnessed CPR, and 64% had taken a CPR course. Ninety-five percent said their main source of CPR information was television."

When will '3D' printed chicken nuggets make it to a KFC near you ?
hankster comments on Jul 23, 2020:
man that is so weird. meat print. does it make real meat or is it just made from the same stuff meat is?
FearlessFly replies on Jul 23, 2020:
(from bizjournals.com) "The 3D printed nuggets will be as close as possible in both taste and appearance to the original KFC product, as KFC will provide its partner with all of the necessary ingredients, such as breading and spices, to achieve the brand's signature taste. Biomeat has exactly the same microelements as the original product, the release continued, and does not harm animals in the process of its creation. Receiving a final product for testing is already planned for the fall of 2020 in Moscow." . . . does that answer your "real meat or is it just made from the same stuff meat is" 'question' ? . . . FearlessFly replies on Jul 22, 2020:
@hankster Ignorance is not a crime (we all suffer from it in some ways), but I don't subscribe to the 'ignorance is bliss' idiom. We are increasingly confronted with "information is the coin-of-the-realm". Those who have info generally prosper more than those who don't. Therefore, "willful ignorance" can be considered, at least foolish, if not worse. NO doubt there are exceptions, like 'do I really want to know about a life-threatening DNA mutation". ymmv

@Captain_Feelgood https://www.themonastery.org/aboutUs "The Universal Life Church Monastery (ULC) is a non-denominational, non-profit religious organization" (would that it were not true for tax purposes) All religious organizations are considered non-profit (as oppose to not-for-profit). "champion of religious freedom" Instead of churning-out 'ministers' wouldn't it be PREFERABLE to advocate that "ministers" be not considered the 'go-to' persons for 'morality' and be NOT REQUIRED to be 'ministers' ? IMO, non-believers have no need for 'ministers', especially the ordained kind(s), and therefore no need for churches (I understand the 'social' aspect).
