@KKGator There are times when the difference between "what I think" and what turns-out to be 'true' isn't small. :P I think info was likely reported to him -- I have read multiple stories that he doesn't read reports/dismisses reports/who knows. I would say he is infamous and accomplished at what may be described as "weasel-words".. My understanding (somewhat limited) of President's Daily Brief is that it is not uncommon to contain some level(s) of uncertainty. It is hard not to notice that my questions have not been addressed. All that is required (and all that ever exists, IMO) is better current persuasive evidence. There are many examples of 'accepted' science that are subsequently disproved by new evidence (Newton's gravity is a canonical example).

@Robecology I am a 'believer'. However I am an original owner of a 1998 Toyotat 4Runner which was 'totalled' (for insurance purposes) in 2008. I did all the repairs myself (except for front wheel alignment) and am happily still driving it as my primary vehicle -- I have a spare, never knowing the day the Toyota will be 'defunct'. If/when that happens, I will be considering Tesla. :)

@nogod4me Ehrman is a textual scholar, self-identifies as an agnostic atheist. I haven't read "Did Jesus Exist", but I have read several of his books and would highly recommend any/all of them. I watched this 'debate' yesterday (posted by someone else). Apart from math, not even science PROVES anything, there is always doubt/error-bars/new ideas. If the evidence doesn't persuade, nothing will.
