Recovering Catholic, retired Army Senior NCO who enlisted in the Army after graduating from college in 1973. Duty, honor, country appealed to me and I believe I owed it. Hung around until 1997. Honors philosophy degree from Holy Cross really came in handy as a Sergeant. I tried to understand, and got interested in organizational dynamics and systems thinking. Offered another stripe and big raise to stay in but retired for physical and emotional health reasons. Worked in a variety of positions in government, Tribal Enterprises, Consulting, Human Resources and Free Lance Writing. Retired after last W4 gig; I no longer have to be concerned about pleasing anybody besides myself and the cats. Guitarist, writer, still warrior at heart; poet and philosopher by avocation and direction
