I'm reasonably intelligent, keep myself in good shape, and love a good, thoughtful conversation, even (especially?) if it challenges our beliefs. Basically, I seek what is true about the universe and I believe that the scientific method is the best way to uncover that truth. So I am a firm believer in objective evidence (at least, as objective as we can get) to determine what is most likely to be true. I like the saying that you can't understand it if you can't measure it. I also love these quotes (I like quotes because they express things that I agree with but in a way that is far more articulate than I can express):
