Neither can I...and in the majority of NM it is mostly left leaning democrats and yet most all the signs on their property is trump/Pence! I can’t believe this either! I wonder if once people join up with others, they just stay there even if it is hurting them! These types of people don’t want to be different.

@Fred_Snerd ...sounds like your depression is taking ‘center stage?’ If you cannot get professional help with counseling, your regular Dr could prescribe some medication to help you.. You might not need it indefinitely (I only take mine when I see that my efforts to combat the depression is not working.).
If you score that high on extroversion, I can understand why you might be suffering! Extroverted people get their ‘motivating energy’ from interacting with others! From my study/personal experience of them...their ‘life force’ almost depends on this exchanging. I am 50/50, but, I am motivated by ideas and issues and not necessarily people (we must have other people to exchange ideas and issues with, lol).
As for things that you can do that would be helpful...you need regular exercise (doesn’t have to be the knock yourself out kind), just get your ‘chi’ (energy) moving. Drink plenty of fluids and eat something that is in its natural state with every meal...a Vit/Min supplement helps. If you are really hurting and there is no one around to help...write...I write down everything that comes to my mind and I don’t stop until I can’t think of anything else to write. This has...I believe, saved my life at times. It definitely helped me to take other actions that brought me out of the depression.
I am sympathetic to your cause...but you will need to do some hard work from your end and find ways to be where other people are, because you really do need...that interaction to supply your personality type. Just try to be less judging of others and observe them on how they operate ...no two people will ever be the same! And, it has been my experience that very few people see ‘eye to eye’ with me. So my friends are few, but meaningful. And, this applies to my family. I make every effort to let them be themselves...and I work at being myself...but I care about them, no matter how ‘off the wall,’ I believe some of them to be! Best of luck and don’t allow your depression to take you over...it lies to you about everything! 🤗

Your friend was a catalyst, which if you think about it, was a gift...you were able to bring up some of your hurt and damaged nature in this exchange. So you came away with more of yourself than you came there with! So this is why this exchange became more than just a religious discussion.
