I have 5 children and they all have different reasons for their issues with me and all at different times! It seems on going...just a matter of degrees at any given time! If it was someone else, I would leave them in the dust...but it is my child! So I take 'breaks' when I need to and stay in the game, because who knows how long that I might be here and I would want to give them my best shot, so they can find peace.

That is a good question and I do not recall any research on it, either! I can remember, when I was very small thinking there was something like a 'god' watching over me! I have no idea where I got that idea from, as it was before I was bused to church! And, I do not remember my mother telling me anything to connect it to!

Yes, not as bad as it has been in the past...at the moment! If I get in a rush...trying to cover too many bases, it will be right there!! It does help to remind ourselve when we are in the middle of it...that we will be perfectly all right and we can handle what we are in the middle of! I would have to agree. Our social order is way out of balance. For me it wouldn't be so bad, if some of the 'haves' did not degrade the 'have nots' with being lazy, not working hard enough and just being 'less than!' There is way too much putting people down, at this time and place. What made this country exceptional was our government system, but right now that is being torn apart along with the people! Maybe, all of us have been exposed to...too much entertainment and reality shows! It may plant in our psychic a life style that does not exist in the real world. Then, there seems to be another situation about money, where a lot of people are only looking to make money anyway they can. If they can con you out of it, that's just great! And, then on the other hand, a lot of money is needed just for necessities. I would say at the moment our system of government is coming apart at the seems and that was what gave us our edge and made it appear that we have a great country with successful people...if not successful, at least satisfied. I think you will find much dissatisfaction right now in this country.

I have to admit here at 78, that a big portion of my life was spent feeling awkward, at gatherings, parties or in groups. It did help to learn that I am an introvert and I don't do small talk easily. And, introverts are not energized by being around other people, like extroverts are! In fact my energy is depleted, if I stay to long! I did improve, but it is still not my favorite thing to do.

I agree, 'passion,' is wonderful if you can get it! And, why have the people who work their self in-to-ground, not make it to upper-middle-class? In fact they end up with more physical problems and a shorter life-span! It is great to know what work that you enjoy and to train for it, early on, but the majority of people work for food, shelter and expenses that are required to live in our society. They work for the money, and not what they would love to work at, to make that money, on the whole!

I did have some of that, back in my working days. My children and pthet family members, have various degrees of it now. It would be helpful to find something outside work, that is light and fun, if possible! And if you are not doing so...keep a journal, because you get your concerns out of yourself and can see them, from a different angle. Meantime, be on the alert for work that would be more in keeping with who you are. Keep things simple for yourself, as you want some of your energy to do things that you enjoy. Eat more fruits and vegetables, than meat and make sure they are foods you like. I wish you luck, and there is hope, and don't worry about what you don't know...most all of us, once didn't know something. But, all of us can learn enough...

Sometimes, I think we are being held hostage, over health care! If I remember correctly, it is the biggest business in this country (maybe behind the government), and yet, a great many people have inadequate insurance or simply cannot afford to pay for their health care. The advancement in treatments are costly! A great portion of people in this country, hold a minimum wage job and even my children who have above average incomes pay an exorbitant amounts in health insurance. Even then, they must 'jump thru hoops,' to obtain certain health test and care! Even the religious people get the modern day health care and still expect 'god' to come thru for them, too! I have noticed that the religious people go to the doctor more than the non-religious people and they have more on-going ailments...and another thing that I have noticed is...they will only do what the Dr says, without checking out their own body and mind...to make sure it makes sense in their case! In other words, I wouldn't hesitate, to not do what the Dr said, if I thought it does not make good sense. (I must select my doctor with care, as I am part of my care ha! ha!). I kinda ran off in the 'weeds' here...

I had 3 divorces and all of them hurt deeply! But, I don't hate any one of them! I do make different choices now and I can easily say to a prospective love interest, we are not a good fit...if that is the case! I got an apology from my former sister-in-law, after 60 yrs! She had always put me down and made fun of me...to say I was confused and hurt is an understatement, but I never hated her! And, after, I made an effort to assist her daughter, she called and begged forgiveness! She thought that I hated her...I just learned to stay clear of her, because she was so hurtful! I just don't need much hate to make my life work! But, I can still can be hurt deeply! I just allow myself to heal and 'get-on-with it!'
