First, I know the anger hurts...but you have done nothing that deserves this kind of anger. Do talk to your son about what he feels so angry about. Sounds like he has a lot to be angry about, and yourself as well. Our lives have been disrupted and for children I would think more so. Say things like ‘I hear your anger, can you talk about that?’ If he will talk, then remind him that the two of you have each other and you will get thru this tough time together. Talk to your son about his future plan and do whatever small thing the two of you can toward that future plan. Plan outings in nature, there no thinking about troubles in nature! When possible bring along a friend of your son’s. Find something to smile or laugh about with your son. If ever there is a time to be on the lighter side of life, I believe it is now! If possible do find an advocate, or a therapist that will support you. Don’t be afraid to share with a friend, everyone needs a friend to lean on especially now. Stay strong and try not to get caught up in a teens growing up pains, plus he has the loss of his father. Just one of those would be difficult for a teen. You must be grieving as well? Just being there for your son, is all that can be done in my mind, right now. Just don’t allow your struggle to become your whole life...find someway that you can put some fun or adventure into your life for the two of you. Keep posting here, you will find support. 🤗🤗
