You may decide to choose another life, maybe your husband will choose a different life! It is all in the cards! I am alone here at 80! I left my children back in Ga. after all 5 went berserk on me for wanting to move 1500, miles from them...reminding me that I have never been happy and this move, want make me happy either! And, if I get sick, they want be able to help me, etc! But, I was slowly dying back there in that ‘Bible Belt’ and I had to leave as I still had life to be lived! (I left 3rd husband back in ‘89 after only a year and half and a very bad auto accident!) By that time I knew I was not willing to live where there is no real caring!
Over this and other actions that I have taken...I have been scared, anxious and at times, hope was even in question, but I claimed my life and this has been the best part of it! I feel alive and hopeful!
My children came to visit (had to put visit on hold this year though), they are proud of what I have done and seem hardly to worry about me at all! We are all calmer with each other now! My children have many worries and I did not want to become another one! Having life sucked out of us, is not productive...nor necessary, there is always another route...even if it is unknown until it isn’t! You are stating how you feel...that is important!

@Dead me too! I have no close friends here in Deming! In fact I just made a new friend and she is an hours drive from here! As is with one other friend that is my friend in this area! Others are all over the country! This is funny!!!!
I was wondering what the diagnosis is on your hands? Since I spend a lot of time at a clinic where I get physical therapy... I always study that chart with the nerves coming from the spine and the nerves in the neck effect the hands! I forget the specifics, but have you checked that out? I have a copy of the chart here in my phone, but it is so small it would not be legible to send it out! But, I would think there is some help for your hands?

@Dead i would agree! I checked your bio! In my early 20s I was a Revlon Rep in a upscale department store in Atlanta. We always had to have perfect nails...back then I didn’t think about ‘perfect’ just always looking great! And I always had great nails and even now, as my hair is falling out (for no reason), my nails must be filed once a week! They are still strong and healthy! Lol. I guess we take what we can get and be happy! I was going to take a picture of my hands the other day and I realized I will need to wait for someone else to do that... I can’t hold the phone and take picture of my hands, all at once! Lol

@Dead You must start slow...the reason you feel dizzy is your lungs....may not be up to speed! Low oxygen will add to your pain level! I am practicing off and on all day...deep breathing! Once I can get back up to par, my brain will help me breath deeper automatically, but I will still make a point to do deep breathing so I don’t get this far down again! Nothing is going well for us, if our bodies has limited oxygen!

Once I can get back up to par, my brain will help me breath deeper automatically, but I will still make a point to do deep breathing so I don’t get this far down again! Nothing is going well for us, if our bodies has limited oxygen!

@Dead Once we get down to the bottom...where we discover how much we hated ourselves, the only way is UP from there. What I did when I found myself there was...I ask myself, ‘how could I hate myself so completely?’ And the answer I got was... ‘I was waiting for someone else to verify that I was lovable!!!’ Because I sure didn’t feel any love for myself! After that ‘abyss experience,’ I realized that I did love myself and I had a right to life...a good life...or the best that I could make it! @Dead Well...my thought on that is...it is better for you to have a voice in this world, than the discomfort that it cost your hands! Did you remember to thank them for the sacrifice that they make on your behalf?
Just so you know...I have been getting cramps in my calfs every morning for a couple of weeks and I checked out everything that I was doing and nothing was adding up or lacking! Then a couple of nights ago, I woke up in the early morning and I found myself barely breathing and I had been dreaming that I was barely breathing! And, I realized that I had not been getting outside enough, because it has been 100-110 degrees for a couple of weeks, so I was just mostly sitting, and barely breathing for all this time! When I am in deep thought or worried I do ‘shallow’ breathing! So now I am having to work on getting my breath to the lower part of my lungs and it has not been easy...my lungs had shrunk up! So now, my calf leg cramps have stopped! Before, my legs were not getting enough oxygen by early morning! I am still not getting my breath deep down where it ought to be! This is what I mean when I encourage you, to start small and work for your best interest!

It would surely not be what your husband has...as you are a different person, with your own personal likes dislikes and skills! @Dead the people here, do appear to have strong beliefs about... what they believe! Most of us came out of religion that brought us harm...and very little good. In my case, my religious beliefs almost cost me my own life, so I can see where others with similar experiences, will not have much use for religion! I don’t know how you presented your ideas...but once challenged, you should have been allowed to keep what you can believe and left at that! That is how I believe this kind of situation is settled. But, I can say that I am not a fan of any religion although I have found what good thing that any religion might support, and I use it in my life, but I want go-around preaching about it...I find the preaching exhausting to my nature!

@Dead my guess is...the people that you shared your longings and pain with, were not up to the task of your struggles. It is better (I learned the hard way), to have 2/3 people that exhibit compassion, than to have a multitude of people who have none or at best are limited! I am sure sorry that you must carry ‘dead,’ as your ‘motto!’ Words are powerful and (as you know) they go somewhere and do something! @Dead my guess is...the people that you shared your longings and pain with, were not up to the task of your struggles. It is better (I learned the hard way), to have 2/3 people that exhibit compassion, than to have a multitude of people who have none or at best are limited! I am sure sorry that you must carry ‘dead,’ as your ‘motto!’ Words are powerful and (as you know) they go somewhere and do something! Make sure they do you ‘good’ and not words that denote harm...or damage ‘the life force!’
