This story is certainly not ‘cut and dried.’ One comment that I can make is, after having experienced several sexual assaults...I never came out later and made glowing statements of any kind about them. If fact I stayed as far away from them as I could possibly get. I may have talked it out with a few friends, or therapists, but other than that I worked to recover my self worth and got on with my life. That’s me. After reading this story for the second time, something is out of kilter to me, stories of our sexual assaults don’t change, they are etched in our psyche forever, if they are called for!
