Reminds me of what occurred to me lately! I do a lot of thinking! I have no TV, read everything except watch some YouTube videos and I only sometimes listen to music! In other words I experience a lot of silence. And, I find myself thinking on everything except not so much worries from the past or future. And, I really enjoy thinking! There is only certain times, that I do not enjoy my thoughts and that is...the thoughts that plague me when I am awaken in the night and cannot quickly fall asleep again. I will have to find some serious discussion on YouTube, that will last about 30 mins and then, most of the time, I will fall asleep again! In my early life, I was always trying to shut out thoughts, as I felt tormented by them!

What baffles me is...why the richest (I keep hearing this), Country in the world cannot put in place, mandatory classes for domestic abuse. Policing this problem only makes it worse. At the first report of any kind of family abuse...6/8 weeks of classes on how to handle anger and how to respect another person, needs to be required! Jail is often required and we would get much better results if we had serious group sessions for people who really do not know how to handle anger and fear. If they can’t make the session, we could bring a group to their residence...one way or other, they would attend these sessions! In the long run it would save lives and really help people understand what they are up against, when they have little control when angry! Education could help, but the schools, especially in depressed areas don’t bother teaching real life issues. We would all be better off, having a better functioning society!
