@Tooreen my middle daughter has worked for 25 years as office manager for a manufacturing company...she is completely task oriented..,we can eat off the carpet in her 15 year old car! Her house is the same..she has never had a maid! She is a militant trump supporter...there is no exchange of information with her, she will twist any information back and prove to you that you have it wrong..,that is only one example of people that I know up close and personal...that are like this! If you can make a dent with these personalities, more power to you..,but the research is not in your favor!

For some unknown reason I was the ‘odd man out,’ because I was trying to make sense of all the insanity! This does not mean that as hard as I tried that I didn’t lash out and cause my own kind of harm. So, I have a pretty good idea, how deep your hurt must go. And, I empathize. I think I cannot explain In writing how much work we have to do by ourselves, before we can release that hurt that keeps us in a kind of prison. A prison that nobody else can see and very few can understand! I would just leave you with...work to not be afraid of your feelings or your dreams! They come out of the sub-conscious, and are trying to help you (us). Carl Jung, did in-depth study on dreams and he said, ‘had it not been for his family, he might not have made it out,’ (this may not be the exact quote, as it was long ago and my book was given up), but, this is an indication of the difficulty...going deep into ourself! We are not alone, we have another part of our nature working on our behalf...that is what I believe and I have found. Study each dream! Ask....what it is trying to show you! You will be surprised what can be learned to help you, from your dreams! Write them down, I have profound dreams that I recorded. I don’t do that much now, because I just work them out in my mind. I hope this helps...I care about your suffering.

His father beat and sexually molested him for years. We are human and nothing in my opinion is unforgivable...even the man who beat my daddy’s head on the hood of a truck and killed him and my mentally ill sister who shot and killed her boyfriend because he broke up with her (parents who lost a son, needlessly). The father that beat my 25 yr old uncle and caused him to die from hemorrhaging in his lungs. The uncle who shot and killed his wife and left 5 little children to lead a terrible life (one took his own life). That does not cover my personal history of neglect and abuse or my sisters. These events above alone caused deep wounds to my young psyche. Try carrying around un-forgiveness over a lifetime and see how a physical body will hold up! It took work, but I am free to live the best life that I can make now (and I started to do that way back, otherwise I would have ended up insane). The events of the past must be ‘processed,’ one way or the other...then left in the past. I choose not to punish myself...for anything! If I fail now, I make amends and move on! As long as I am still here in this world, I believe I have an obligation to be as happy as I can make myself...and carrying with me old emotional and mental distress, will only break me down physically and provide nothing useful for my living now. It took some ‘doing,’ but I found out that we are not required to keep ‘living out,’ (even in our minds) what was done to us (or even around us) by anyone. We can re-train our brain, to support our nature..

I ask myself...then sometimes I will journal asking myself..if you are willing to keep an open mind and let ‘it’ simmer, sooner or later, it will come to you.
