Good luck with finding local non-believers! Funny about your LDS past, my neighbor’s are LDS, only some of them are non-believers! It is such an interesting relationship, I am most fond of all of them, but I would never go out of my way to make friends with people of this persuasion! The grandma who was 96 just past and she was a believer, but I adored her and I had to make it clear that I am not a believer in god or religion! There is a very good chance she could have become a non-believer herself, given the right exposure! Lol best of luck and keep posting!

It seems to me there is more struggling to find belonging and goodness. Too many pieces of our social order has been tossed up in the air and must be sorted out. Religion keeps people thinking too narrowly and that hampers personal growth. Atheist have no less moral and ethical behavior than Christians, if fact a lot of Christians that I have known seem to twist their unethical behavior into something acceptable, much more than non-believers.

I don't talk about it much, but mother's day is kinda hard for me.
