@Jthurston2 ..,agreed! But, what is turning my life inside out and making me ill...is the destruction of a working imperfect social order! The ramifications will carry over and still hurt people long after I am dead and gone! It is like a reoccurring disease. How long has it taken other social systems to recover after an event in history as is happening today, with dictator trump? He is forcing us into ‘evil’...and trying to convince us..,it is better than ‘holy water!’

Freedompath replies on Jun 9, 2018:
@VAL3941 ...so your position is, you ‘feel’ empathy, caring and love only for people that you know personally? Therefore when a person that you know is ‘lost’ or ‘gone’ you would feel grief over them? I do not feel the same intensity of grief for someone that I don’t know...that i feel for someone that is close to me or that I know personally! But, somehow I feel a kind of grief when anyone is hurt, lost, dies or is mistreated...even if they are on the other side of this earth! I have been like this from childhood, so it seems perfectly natural to me! So what seems natural to me, seems ‘crazy’ to you! How do you square this?

Why do we hate?
Freedompath comments on May 23, 2018:
There would be no hate...if there was not first fear! Fear comes before hate! It is either a known or unknown fear of something! When we know ourselves, we tend to make sense of our fears and they do not become hate...even if we are angry.

@Ride_Captain ‘you have made sense of your fear!’ Fear is a part of our nature, so that we could survive up to now! Our brain construct in older age, works in concepts, not so much in details! And, when ‘knocked-up-side-the-head,’ with responses...I simply shut down! But that is me...
