I think conservatism is fundamentally anti-constitutional. That is, they spout support of the constitution and the support of freedom, but pick and choose what they choose to support and outright press religious perspectives on the members of the public and hat don’t share their perspective. However, there is a continuum. The Radical right, seems to hate liberalism.

I did, until I responded in kind. They stayed away after that. I had an art teacher in 7th grade that yanked me out of my chair by my hair. I had long hair in junior high. I was at a school assembly when I refused to stand during the pledge. After she lifted me out of my seat, I turned around and hit her shoulders with the palms of my hands hard enough to fling her back onto the brick wall. Ms. Pickup didn’t bother me again, but my mother had a rather long word with her.

Anything less than the Spinozian definition isn’t worth calling god. Thor, Odin, Baal... can easily be dealt with logically. It’s the spinozian definition that complicates things. You can divorce god from Christianity, Hinduism, Islam.... and still talk about it as a logical possibility. But that’s it. You can’t know that or approach it logically. So, since you can’t disprove it or prove it, the question becomes moot. Agnosticism is the acknowledgement of that logical dilemma.
