I'm a Vietnam vet, having served in the medical corps, a first-wave baby-boomer who grew up in the 50s and early 60s. I've been a gay rights activist, a sometimes-published writer, a book- and music-seller specializing in classical music and opera, a failed pizza maker, a factory worker, hospital orderly, mail carrier, taxi and ice-cream truck driver.

I'm retired now and spend my time doing family research, watching TV, going to movies and concerts. I'm also an introvert and do almost everything alone. I share care of an aging orange tabby cat with a friend a few doors away. I plan to live to 100.
