Opposite beliefs in a relationship

Hello everyone I need opinions on how to deal with opposite beliefs in my relationship. My husband and I have been married for 3 yrs, when we first started dating he was a Christian and I let him know that I was a skeptic/agnostic and he said it wouldn't be a problem. My mother is going downhill - asking for kind thoughts or feedback

She has a degenerative illness, but has taken a turn for the worse. I don't know how much time she has left. My dad and I have been doing everything we can for her, while making sure we can still take care of ourselves. But she is so anxious and nervous and trying to control everything, including after she's gone, and she's also making my dad anxious, and all this is just adding to my own stress and fear of losing her. Just looking for some kind thoughts or feedback. Thanks.

Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness?

I think that my liberty should not end until it infringes on the liberty of another. What I mean is that I should be legally allowed to do anything I want to or with my body so long as I am not hurting anybody who is not myself. Are there things that you think an adult person should not be legally allowed to do to or with their own body?
