I think Yeti is over priced, and comparable performance can be found for less money. The Reduce brand has been good to me, and has good customer service when I lost the top to my 32 ounce coffee mug.

@Surfpirate I’m amazed at all the work/technology that goes into getting a well into production. The last I heard it was about $12 million/well, and there are hundreds (thousands perhaps?) here. The breakeven cost I’ve heard is a bit less than $30/barrel. The success rate on wells drilled here is near 100%

@Surfpirate It’s interesting - we were supposedly at peak oil several years ago, and somehow they keep finding more. I think we are getting towards the end of usefulness of oil as a transportation fuel. I’m sure it will be used for manufacturing, but much less will be needed. My hope is that in a couple centuries, we won’t need militaries, much less oil.

@Surfpirate Ummm - I’m working in North Dakota right now, using fracking methods to pull crude oil out of the bakken and three forks formations. I know in the east fracking is used for natural gas, but we have a glut of oil on the world market due to fracking in North Dakota and West Texas.

I wouldn’t call it stuck between levels. It’s a continuing process- the points begin to lose importance as you become familiar with the personalities here and enjoy the relationships that form. :)
