It took until I was 10 before Mom let my brothers and I quit going to Sunday School. We expressed our perception that we thought the people were crazy and it all made no sense to us. I'm also a disabled liberal, having survived a brain cancer scare but only thanks to the surgery that left me slightly damaged. Fully functional and fit, disability doesn't look like me.
