An unfortunate obstacle is the consumers. Many consumers do not have a problem with the shortened life span of appliances because they want change. They want a reason to update their kitchen or washer/dryer. Kitchen updates are happening around the 10 year mark if that long - new home purchases cause people to update sooner.

And that, right there, is how one little ratato takes up the whole bed..... LOL ;-)
