Deception Pass is so beautiful. Whidby Island is such a quaint little place. We did a kayak trip all over the place up there - our guide had this underwater sonogram thing so we got to listen to them! Extremely cool & a bit scary - they ended up surfacing all around us!

A customer of mine has over eighty and keeps them in an orchid house where they take care of them until their ready to bloom and they deliver the blooming plant and pick up spent bloomer . I never had any luck with them myself and don't have an orchid house near by if I could even afford it .

@dede18 @flower_nut South window and I water them once a week. I start filling the kitchen sink with lukewarm water and add them to it. I wet the bark and set them in the sink, anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. Drain the water and set them back in the window. I fertilize once a month. 4 of them were 'distressed' sale plants and they seem to be surviving - at least I get to find out what color they are going to be 😁

@CommonHuman Feb 2016 we had a wicked snowstorm here. I was at work in Banner Elk (way in the mountains) - normally it was about an hour & 20 minutes one way - that day it took me 3 hours but she made it all the way - no slipping even on the final mountain climb to the house where no other cars had driven. I even stopped 2/3 way up and picked up a walker. He couldn't believe I had made it up the mountain (his SUV had slid and was stuck about a mile from where I picked him up).

I have owned a Prius since 2002. Am on my 3rd one and I love my $20 - $25 fill ups every 3 or 4 weeks. Not to mention I use to be able to fit my 8' kayak in it, I have hauled 5 50lb bales of alfalfa with 4 40lb bags of pelleted shavings in it and I have carried 8 2'x6' treated boards in it. Yep it is my little truck! 😀

I don't care if it was players, managers, owners or the wives of the above individuals - if cheating occurred in the winning of any championship the winners should forfeit EVERYTHING and it should go to the 'runner-up' (aka loser). To me, that is the only way to stop the cheaters. Strip them of any award/winnings/title/anything and fire them/fine them/make it so any involved are never inducted in the hall of fame of their respective sport, etc. Once again, my opinion.

@Soarfeet my dad made copies of ALL his wills, directives, etc for me. I have them with me & have a key to his safety deposit box where the originals are in case there are issues with the copies.
