In 1999 when my mom passed away. We had a friendship gathering on the beach and then we took her ashes out to sea and relased her for her last dive. Prior to leaving the beach, all of a sudden there were butterflies everywhere. I know it was coincidental but man, was it wonderful for that split second to believe she was doing a fly by.

The smoke here in Grants Pass Oregon today is the worst I have seen so far.

Both. Neither. In the middle. Love mornings and wake up raring to go. Have some friends in VA who jokingly say I am not allowed to speak before they drink their coffee. Something about Cinderella & birds singing & dancing - I have know idea what they are talking about ??? Did I mention I dont drink coffee? Love to go hiking before most get out of bed so I can hear/see the forest wake up. Flip side - if something is going on - I am usually one of the last ones awake.

Anyone is better than the monkey show we have now. I like several of the above - Kamala Harris, Joe Kennedy & Kristen Gillibrand all would be great. Even though he is well liked, Joe Biden is too old - not necessarily in age (well, that too) but he is old Democrat & we need people who will change with the times. As someone else said Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez would definitely add youth & change but I believe she needs a few years under her belt. I also like Michael Avenatti - I believe he is interesting.

Well the couple of times I have been pulled over - I knew why (darn lead foot) but I was still nervous. Not really sure why other than I am a toe-the-line, never get in trouble type of person so I guess actually doing something wrong made me nervous not necessarily the flashing lights. Now, that time my mom got pulled over - I think it was my 11th birthday - let's just say I should have been arrested for laughing so hard I almost pee'd my pants. My poor mom was horrified.

She was beautiful! I have a pack and pretty much have always had a pup, or pony or bird or cat - when you lose one a new one will never replace nor take the spot of Ladybug. Meet Raini - she is/was my heart. I would not change a second of my time with her nor would I give up the love and companionship of my current pack. Take your time, when you are ready, visit a shelter or - scan the rescue groups online. You will know when you see your new pal.

I thought it was smoke the other day and all I could think was 'that is not how Seattle/PNW is suppose to look'. Normally, if it was clouds that thick, there would be drizzle and it would almost be peaceful (at least to me). These have a dry thickness, not peaceful - as if you could see people with pieces of cloth over the mouth & nose.
