This is Moravian Falls - about 10 minutes from my house. I did a few 'normal' (taken last year) vs 'after Hurricane Michael' shots. Sorry about the poor lighting I meant to back later yesterday but got busy being an adult and did yard work..

Round 4 I promise I am done for today ? Trail number 3 - would have gone further but this trail was a bit muddy. And when you have pint sized hiking companions muddy trails are not wise. I couldn't resist the building clouds and one last overlook.

Round 3 The first 2 are a tree that had fallen across the trail - I love how one side is rotting & going back to nature the other side is is return in to nature in a different way.

Round 2 of my hike. I wish you could hear the gurgling of the creek - I was out early so I didn't meet up with any other hikers til about 10am. It was so wonderful - just nature in all her beauty - sights, sounds & smells!
