Every once in a while I dream that I hear the doorbell. Back when I had a dog and two cats when I napped, I'd be sandwiched with them. If I had that dream I would just look at the fur babies. If the dog heard the bell he'd be out there trying to break the door down to greet his new friends. The cats would be off for a hidey hole. If they were all still sleeping on me I knew I was dreaming.

Yet one more fucking holiday ruined by tRump.

I have a robo vac, and my peabrain Zelda lies down in the path and lets it bump into her. Then it backs up and changes direction. Both my kitties will drop toys in its path so the vac will suck it up and stop. I usualy have it run while I am at work, and I come home to a completed job about 5% of the time. Now if I get out my big vac, then they go hide in the basement.

This is all about the mom. My childhood trauma stems from my dad, and if I get started on that now I will not make it to work for the rest of the week, and maybe next week... and the next. So, oh shit yeah I have childhood trauma that affects me now, and more of it percolates to the surface all the time. My mother died when I was 14, my dad remarried 6 months later to the Witch from Hell. That woman should never have been allowed near children. My dad was no prize, and neither was his family, though they hid it well.

I have a friend in my Humanist group that is a campaign manager and knows lots of other campaign managers. He knows the folks who work for Warren. She is a condescending arrogant woman and treats her staff like dirt.. That concerns me... I wouldn't vote for Joe Biden, I think his time is past and he has too many ties to big business. In the end I will vote for whoever runs against Drumpf, and I won't be watching the debates. I don't watch TV most of the time.

do a few at a time. If you have a sharp small scissors it will work best. Just cut the mats out, being very careful not to cut skin. Do one at a time, let her get accustomed to having it done. You will need to start brushing her daily to avoid the mats, if she will let you. I've never had a cat I couldn't handle or manhandle. So she might not let you. You may have to go with the vet. The mats are painful, they get so tight they pull the skin.

I work as Customer Service for the billing office for a hospital for children. So I get to talk about bills/money to anxious parents with sick kids. The divorced parents can be a crap ton of anger. No I can't send the bill to your ex's address even if you did spend $18,000 for your divorce. He didn't sign the kid into the clinic or sign the financial responsibility forms... I would say it would depend on the denomination. I was involved with several church's VBS (vacation bible school) programs when I was a good xian wife. We looked at many programs, some really tried to scare the love of god into the children. Truly some bordered on abusive. We chose other programs. I also substituted for the SS programs, very benign. BUT, I was always with a fairly liberal church, mostly UMC, and they don't play games like that.

I live in the heart of Tornado Alley USA. I have seen tornadoes damage all the houses on a block except one. I have read stories about children picked up by tornadoes and some dropped gently someplace safe, and some who died of impalement by other flying debris. I don't believe the universe has an meaning, it is pretty much random and sometimes the randomness works out well for some individuals.

I saw a posting on FB in a craft group I'm a member of, one woman said her husband "gave her permission to purchase..." and I almost responded but kept my thoughts to myself. Even when I was married I didn't ask permission or wait for permission to spend money. Pro: no one stealing covers or pulling them away from me. No one else's stuff to sort through. Con: No help for much of anything, I do have the kids but they don't live here. o one to blame stuff on. No one to discuss decisions that need to be made except getting the kids involved. No hugs for days at a time.

I do meditation, and it does take a while to get the control over your monkey brain. I know it helps me because when I meditate my resting heart rate falls. When I stopped meditating my heart rate climbed with my anxiety levels. I wear a fit bit so I have the feedback and can track my RHR. It is just one measure of health. I use an app called CALM, it has daily meditations and other meditations aimed at specific topics, I remember that flight anxiety is one, better sleep. I tried sage smudging, I just thought my house smelled like BBQ for over a week.

My folks always planted a large garden, six kids on a brick mason's salary where the work stops in the cold of winter, my folks needed to supplement. My grandparents had gardens, and my mom grew up on a farm. I have moved 20 times in my life post high school, and some places I had a garden.

If my neighbors have issues with my yard they can... come over and talk to me. I've had issues with sciatica this spring and I'm working full time, so the yard gets attention when I have time and flexibility to take care of it which means not very much. I did eradicate the invasive mint, so there is that. The weeds/wildflowers are fine until such time as I decided it is time to change. I like dandelions, they make the grandbabies happy.

I don't have twitter, so I can't do much about this idea. BUT, can you imagine the meltdown when the Twittler has that associated with his name. That will be a Twittler Tantrum like never seen before. Please, please share this far and wide!!

I do agree with that, but we also create ourselves. I'm not the same person I was at 19, or even 40. My core is still the same, but I have refined myself, and in many ways recreated myself. I shed much of the teaching of my youth that was holding me back. Life is a process of metamorphosis.

I work in customer service for the billing department of a hospital. I've been told several times I need to dumb down my vocabulary. If that second jar said using big words, or telling the truth about how the hospital bills you.... Well, in the first instance the jar would be full. The second instance I'd be fired.

There is no way in hell that I would approve making Drumpf a head of state in any way, shape, or form. I want him in a tiny box with limited communication with limited number of people and NO TWITTER! I don't care if that box is a coffin or a prison cell. Personally I'd like to see everyone perform at their potential. Not everyone has the aptitude to become a rocket scientist or nuclear physicist; and not everyone can be a Picasso, or Georgia O'Keeffe, or Mark Spitz. Gender should not be part of the equation, we all have different abilities.
