His pictures for sure are not professionally done. They are poorly lit and poorly composed. He is a professional corrosion expert, which I was unaware until I googled it that it is a real thing. His English is not perfect, but not anything that says NNES. Some of his comments were kinda rude or out of place. When they claim to live in places that aren't real or a combination of real places it makes me uncomfortable.

This makes me want a bumper sticker for my car that says "I escaped Kansas before the crazy party started." I can think of so many things wrong with this method, like the likelihood of mom dying or baby having horrible birth defects. There needs to be a sign on many state borders that advise women that "you're only a uterus with legs in this state." Jeebus I am so glad I got out of Kansas when I did, Nebraska seems somewhat more progressive now.

I would love to have a clothes line, but the HOA CCRs prohibit. As a kid there was nothing sweeter than a bed freshly made with sheets that were line dried in the sunshine. Best memory of childhood ever.

For me having kids, especially all girls gave me a voice I wouldn't have used before. If someone messed with my kids I would become MamaBear all over them. My kids said it was a sight to behold, I have no memories except for the rage that my kids were threatened. I have become an encourager and an advocate. When I work with younger women and they do not own their voice I point it out to them. So many women will apologize for so many little things, and I tell them, you have a right to the space you are in. Don't apologize for that. When you need something for work, you are speaking for your organization, own that and don't soften the message. (My former job we had to have info from employers and doctors and often would have to follow up on it, again and again.) I wear my Agnostic.com shirt to the gym, and I've answered a few questions about it. When I grew up good girls didn't talk about sex, religion, or politics. I stomped that down into the dust a few times. And I have asked a man out recently. The old Virginia Slims slogan was "you've come a long way, baby."

I just have no words. Well, I have lots but they're not falling into comprehensive order. OMFG, he needs to inhale more deeply and STFU. I am starting a job in a few weeks with a hospital that works primarily with children. I will have no patient contact, for the most part will not even be in the same building as patients. I had my immunization records checked, I had titers drawn, and a TB tine test, I was poked, prodded, and weighed. I got a lecture on hand hygiene, and on ergonomics. The TB test has been read, it is negative. I have to go back next week for a second TB tine test (CDC guidelines) and if the titer results are back I will be given immunizations for anything I am lacking. I am willing and quite happy to get the additional immunizations. It is called herd immunity, and I am quite happy to not carry any bugs. It benefits society as a whole, and in particular those that are youngest and weakest, and in doing so will also benefit my grandbabies. It is just sooo stupid and sooooo moronic NOT to! Jeebus Criminy, the dude needs a 2x4 applied to his thinking cap.

I could write a book on that one, it is a huge part of my autobiography. Long story short - I had doubts for so long that I ignored because being a good christian mom/wife was what I needed to be for the life I had. When the disconnect between who I was and how I was living started to get increasingly uncomfortable, and I could no longer stuff down the truth I had to make changes. I got a divorce and then had to acknowledge the Xian church does really not have a role for middle aged divorcees. They just don't fit in the picture. So being away from the weekly brainwashing allowed all the truth to surface and I had to find a new identity and I embraced my heathen side.

It is adorable. It is called a Chimera cat. According to Geekologie.com, a chimera cat is one individual organism, but genetically its own fraternal twin. The chimera is formed from the merging of two nonidentical twins, therefore they can be male, female, or hermaphroditic. Basically what that means is it was two embryos that merged together, making the cat look like it's two different patterns. Sometimes the difference is not as obvious as the face fur, it could be a hitchhiker's thumb and one straight thumb, eyes of slightly different colors, or completely undetectable.

If you haven't found it already, I so highly recommend this blog for all things job related. AskAManager.org. The blogger is an HR person from way back, she gets questions from readers and answers them. She answers everything! And the blog is searchable. Resumes, cover letters, office cultures, office politics, management, job searches, lunch stealers, interviews, holiday disasters, salary negotiations. And frequently it is funnier than anything I've read during the day, especially some of the stories of lunch thieves. I read the blog every day. and miss it on the weekend when no new stuff is posted. She's been writing the blog for over 10 years, and even has a book out.

Deal Breakers for me: Too many toys, i.e. boats, motocycles, RVs, etc. One or two is fine, too many is not where I'm at. School age kids. If he has kids they should be in college or beyond that. I stopped counting holidays, because when I was married I had some horrible ones. So, just me, and I'm OK that way. I have my kids and grands, my cats, my hobbies, and I am good company to me. If I find someone it will be great, and if I don't it will still be great. Because I am great, having that relationship will not make me any different than I am now, except for having someone to blame stuff on besides the kitties. ;)

I had dinner with my kids, grandbabies, and my ex. My girls and I have dinner together every other Thursday, and we rotate homes. This week is the youngest's turn, and she lives with her dad. So, just another Thursday night in Omaha. The grandbabies were in rare fettle, cuddly and cute!! And yeah, the ex was there, we're civilized and amicable.

I asked him why he didn't just skip the measuring cup and go out to the heap, and he said, "neighbors." Apparently he would do it after dark, the measuring cup held the daylight hours output. She does not seem to have repented of her leaving nor of her support for the regime. She is looking out for the best interests of her baby, but she did make the decisions that led to the death of the previous babies. I don't think she should take priority over anyone else in any case. I pretty much feel like she made her bed, let her lie in it. What does the nation have to gain if they bring her back, and what risk does the nation take if they do? I don't see it as being a good bargain. Maybe humanitarian, but I wouldn't trust her as far as I could throw her. Is there anyone who is willing to take her in and be accountable for her? Does her family want her to come back?

I onboarded for a new job. I'm going to be working for a hospital. I was poked, proded, measured, sampled, and photographed. I got a TB tine test, drug tested, titers taken, and examined fully clothed. I had my vision and my reflexes tested. Pretty amazing. I will start the job on March 4th.

I am a group owner, I participate in many other groups. I wear my Ag.com T shirt frequently out in public, mostly to the gym. I've had questions on it twice, I'm sure they aren't checking the site out. ;) I talk about the site in my Humanist Meet Up group, I've gotten a few joiners because of that. It is community to me because of the people, I've had great support here, and gotten into some hot discussions. It has been interesting.

I have found the fountain of youth! I'm at the gym for 90 minutes to 2 hours most days. I can do stuff now I haven't done in years! My skin looks amazing, aside from being very well hydrated I'm not sure what is up with that. I have a whole new wardrobe because nothing from September fits anymore, except my robe. But if I go out in my robe someone is going to call my kids, I just know it. And besides, it is colder than bloody heck here. So, I am getting older, but I also getting way better!
