Unique picture... hmmm. Post divorce I don't think I am more extroverted. I had a renter for a while and he "encouraged me" to get the hell out of the house and do things. I'm loud, opinionated, and quite open online, but in real life I can be out and about for a while then I want my book and my tea. My ex was NOT an introvert prior to divorce and post divorce and now retired he only goes out to get food and gas and church. He has the love of his life, his website. If he is neurotic it isn't my problem, but the kids will find a way to let me know.

I believe that unless you lived a magical life, anxiety and depression will find you. They are a product of our evolution, just our way of life does not give us a good outlet to cope with them. My understanding is both are symptoms of our flight or fight reflex, but because our issues don't get resolved they come back and bite us in the ass as anxiety and depression.

I'm selective, I don't spend time with just anyone, and likely 4. I'm older than most of the population. And also 5. I'm not overly social. I graduated in 1976, the US Bicentennial. My senior class planned a trip to Washington DC. When my stepmonster heard she said no, just flat out no way in hell. Well, my dad stood up to her and allowed the trip. My dad did not stand up to the step witch very often so it was pretty amazing. I got to go on my first airplane ride, and I fell in love with the Smithsonian Museums. And a few month later I graduated, and a few months later joined the Army, so my teens ended far better than they began. My dad married the step witch when I was 15, my mom died when I was 14.

My kitties do not go outside. When I was a teen living with dad/stepmonster, I was sick in bed with the flu. Stepmonster let cat in but didn't notice what she was carrying. Kitty came up to my bed and proceeded to try to dismember a bird. Ewwww! I grabbed kitty by the only part I could reach, the tail. Kicked my feet to kick the bird corpse off the bed, and holler for help from parents. Dad heard me, yelled at stepmonster to go find out what I needed. She came up, grabbed tissues, then the birdie, and took the birdie for disposal. I let go of kitty and kitty followed bird and stepmonster. A few moments later kitty was back on the foot of my bed, and for about 15 minutes she scolded me!! Seriously, she was a Siamese, she was a talker. She gave me a stern talking to for several minutes, and sniffed all over the bed hoping we missed a bird part. She was my first heart cat, I loved that little girl and I was her chosen human. But I draw the line at eating dead birds on my bed!

My guess is randomized dialing by organized scammer. How many texts would someone have to randomly send to hit paydirt? They now have a live person's number. They may not be able to break you down, but your number will go into their database, and likely be sold to someone else. Ya gotta remember, likely this is not "a person" but a parasite. Block that number, and report it if possible.

I have never had an issue with giving my pets meds or claw trimming. I've been scratched in the process of trimming claws, but not terribly. I have not had to give current girls any meds, but heart cat had a few meds from time to time. I can't say she liked it, but we got it done. I think she trusted me and she was very bonded to me.
