My kids were so lucky! From 1995 to 2000 we lived in a neighborhood where there was a creek and some wetlands very near by. During summer vacation they would take off in the morning, come home for lunch and I wouldn't see them again til dinner. There were frogs, and wild berries, and trees to climb, and they would come home stinky and dirty. They still talk about it as the best part of their childhood. Then the land was sold and the developer put in more houses and then we moved.

I have shut a cat in a closet from time to time. Once when I worked 12 hour shifts my old girl was shut in my closet for almost 14 hours. She had to go while she was in there, and used my laundry basket. I was thankful she didn't use my shoes. And current girls have been shut in my sewing room for an extended period. They chose an out of the way spot to relieve themselves. Now I am uber careful when I shut the door to the sewing room to locate the kitties.

I have had 100 monkeys high on caffeine jumping around in my brain, they are alllllll my anxieties. The best thing that I have found to calm them down is meditation. Yeah, I scoffed at first, but without taking medications there are now only 57 monkeys jumping around and the caffeine is gone. I use an app called Calm. It is guided meditations, a new one daily and many other meditations categorized, better sleep is one I have used.

Another reason we should all find alternatives to Monsanto products, especially round-up [rt.com]

I agree, unless we have someone who is exploring the options. I think we need to be a welcoming safe place for those individuals. They aren't ready to make the declaration that there is no god, at least quite yet and when they ease into it their percentages will change. Now I will agree the plastic bodies and too pretty faces to me are a sign of a scammer. People that good looking don't need dating sites and likely are out to exploit others.

The Hydroflask goes everywhere with me, and I have two because one went to work with me every day, usually filled with herbal teas. I also have another stainless steel water bottle with company logo of company I former worked for. I have not used a plastic water bottle in 5 years or so. I joke that when the Hydroflask is full, if I need to break through a window I can use that. It is heavy enough and stainless steel. Two of my three kids also have and use Hydroflasks. Granddaughter recognizes and loves to drink from the hydroflask, and it is usually water, my kids learned well from me. I also have stainless steel straws that I use. I try to not use plastic whenever I can.
