My Google account does have the numbers, however, that means I have to have access to a computer that I trust. 3 years ago I worked on Thanksgiving day. It was snowing, roads were crappy. My first break, my phone hit the tile floor and was done in. So, IF I had troubles on the way home I had no way of calling for help. Scary stuff. Luckly we survived the day and I went shopping on Black Friday for a new phone. Usually I will not go shopping then, but...

I have way too much stuff, stuff that I have dragged around for years. Since I have been off work one of my projects has been to sell stuff on eBay. I have sold some clothing that no longer fits, and have more to sell. I have some china pieces and collectibles to sell. Selling small stuff like that requires good pictures, so I also made a photo studio. The frame is a 2 ft X 2 ft cube of PVC pipe. I sewed essentially draperies for three sides out of white fabric. I will place lamps on both sides. The bottom top and front are open, the bottom will be covered in white fabric and I can places platforms under the fabric to elevate items as needed. The ceramic in the photo studio is one that will be up for sale here in the next few weeks. I get rid of my excess and make a couple of bucks, what is not to like.

I am mentally prepping for Thanksgiving which is coming up in a few weeks in the US. I have been mostly sugar free and vegetarian, which Thanksgiving won't be. I also have done intermittent fasting, and really most days I don't care IF I eat, but I know I have to eat to lose fat and not muscle. So learn the lesson and get back on track. My philosophy is "The NEXT bite." Don't put it off til tomorrow, get back on track with the very next bite.

Tonight we turn our clocks back an hour.

My cats have dry food out all the time and get canned food in the morning. The younger cat thinks the dry food is toys, she will deliberately knock it out of the bowl and bat it around the kitchen floor until it goes under the stove. She even has managed to lift the bowl to knock out more pieces all at once. That fur girl is diabolical!

I guess if you like gardening this is the group to be in.

The other 25% is articles introducing you to problems you didn't know you had. Why do gals shell out so much money for something that makes them feel worse about themselves. I didn't buy candy, and didn't turn on my porch light. I have not given out candy since I've lived here. The first couple of years I was here I worked night shifts and wasn't home. I don't even know if there were trick or treaters this year, I didn't look out. I don't keep candy in my house, it is too tempting for me. My grandchildren are still too young for trick or treat. I don't really like the taste of coffee either, but I like the caffeine kick. I didn't drink coffee regularly until about 5 years ago, and then "regularly" wasn't daily. When I quit working in September I also quit coffee, until I read about the health benefits of coffee and those benefits were what I was trying to achieve. So for about the last three weeks I've been drinking coffee daily. I see my doctor in a week, and if the labwork comes back the way I hope it will, I will be drinking a cup of coffee daily for the rest of my life. I usually drink it cold with a bit of honey for sweetness and some sort of cream. Recently I made cashew cream and that worked well.

I use lots of vodka!! I make my own extracts and tinctures, like lemon, vanilla, and several other uses. I keep a small bottle with a dropper of ginger tincture, it works great for heartburn. Yes, I kept a small (2 oz.) bottle of vodka at my desk when I was working. In two years I had heartburn about 3 times. But it amused me to have vodka at work.
