Depends on season. At the end of winter I want lemon anything. Lemon meringue would be wonderful Something about the yellow and flavor speaks of spring. The rest of the time Chocolate Silk is my favorite. And then fruit pies from time to time. I can make a great Pear Pie. Sorta like apple, but with pears. And yes, I will make pumpkin pies for Thanksgiving.

A few years ago I got rid of most plastics in my house. I made my own personal wipes to replace toilet paper. The only place I have TP is the guest bath, and under the counter because of the kitties. My wipes get washed and reused. I rarely use tissues, I use hankies; again wash and reuse. I make my own soap, tooth paste, deodorant, moisturizer. My shampoo is a bar of soap. I eat natural foods, as close to nature as possible, few additives or preservatives. I make my own lip balms and candles. I'm not perfect, but work in progress.

Congrats on the pounds you've taken off and your desire to change your life. I strongly suggest you talk to a nutritionist. Most docs don't have much training on nutrition, and what they did have was in med school. Things have changed. I stopped working on Sept 7th, and my first fast was the evening of the 7th to the evening of the 8th. It is called intermittent fasting, do a google search. I am not diabetic, but I've been pre-diabetic for years. I am fasting at least once a week some weeks twice. At my heaviest I was 280 pounds. I have lost and gained 50 or more pounds for years. Since I have been off work I've been walking almost every day, and then winter started. So now I've joined a gym. I gave up sugar about 4 years ago and lost 30 pounds, put some of it back on with my last job, and now that is coming off. I had to cut down on my meds for hypertension. I want to be healthy for my grandchildren, I want to get up off the floor with a modicum of grace. Good luck on your journey.

Thanks for sharing that. My daughter is temporarily disabled, she had foot surgery, is NWB (non weight bearing) and had a 5 month old baby so I'm doing Grammy duty, and driving her home from work every day. She also has some anxiety issues which are not helped by her current situation. Last night she forgot to take one of her meds, it is a new one I am unfamiliar with. It has some awful side effects when you try to wean off, those include heightened anxiety, burning sensation on the face, nausea, and dizzyness. So, I got a call today that she needed to go home early. I will recommend this app to her, because that is definitely not a good med to skip.

Babysitting my Twin grand babies today, and waiting for this Hurricane.

My middle daughter was born in Germany 30 years ago. She does not have dual citizenship, she has a certificate of live birth abroad. Signing her up for anything that required a birth certificate always required a long conversation as to if it was "real". I have been taking CBD oil for about a week or two. I have arthritis in my left thumb, and since I stopped working I've been doing much more stuff with my L hand, I'm sewing most days. I had noticed L thumb was very sore and swollen. After CBD oil I have much less pain and swelling.
