One of the few good things about living in the western part of town and having to drive due east to go to work is those days that the sky is breathtaking in the morning. I love a red sky at morning, both for the colors and for the promise it holds. I love it anyway til the sirens go off.

I have been unemployed for about a week. I keep thinking I need a puppy, I do have time now to train one. I have two cats, they're about 3 and 4 years old. Then I remember my back yard isn't fenced, the grands are frequent visitors, and I will likely be going back to work.... and I get over it. I want a dog someday, but this isn't the best house for it, so we will see what happens when I really retire.
