Just by living we tend to accumulate a lot of stuff. Much of it has memories attached. I have been going through my "stuff" and looking at it with fresh eyes. I ask myself why am I keeping it? Is it serving any useful purpose? Does it have that much sentimental value? Will the kids want it when I'm gone? Does it have any value? If it has value and I don't need it I will sell it on eBay. If it has no value and I don't care about it that much I will take it to Goodwill or other charity drop box. If it doesn't bring you joy and your kids won't want it get it out of your house. It seems like the less stuff we have the more peace we have. Too much stuff adds stress. Think of it as "right" sizing.

I don't know much about crypto currency, but I've talked to others who have invested, and my take is that they're speculators and it's very risky. I absolutely will not invest in crypto. Maybe I lack imagination, but I just haven't seen anything that gives me any warm fuzzies about crypto. I want safer havens for my investments.

I believe a good portion of adults in the US, and maybe in the world, are addicted to coffee/caffeine. I am one who rarely imbibes in coffee. I like the caffeine, but I like my coffee really sweet and creamy, and I don't need those calories. I have caffeine tablets to take as needed. If I have caffeine after noon I won't be able to sleep until well after midnight and then I will need more caffeine the next day to function. One of my kids used to drink coffee all day and never had trouble falling asleep. She is now in her late 30s, I don't know how much coffee she drinks now or when. She has two small children who haven't mastered the art of sleeping through the night consistently. Her sister (daughter #2) mentioned to me that she now has to cut off caffeine after noon, that acorn did not fall far from the tree. I hope your procedure goes smoothly and you're back chasing snakes and kids in no time.
