He did ask something about why I was leaving and I tossed off something about a family emergency. I was a non traditional student; I was over 45 and had teenagers, so it was plausible. I could have gotten some trouble, and I did fill out the class assessment and was harsh but honest. I don't even remember what class it was. He taught to the first two rows, and the rest of the classroom was ignored. I think I have had a quite unusual and full life.

I do have a drawer full of plastic utensils, they might get used with grandbabies, or anytime I expect I would need to toss it. Son in law used a plastic fork to pick a lock for me a few months ago, the tines got broken off. I think all the plastic I have has also been washed and reused a few times. I want to keep that crap out of the landfills and oceans.

I remember learning in Catechism classes (aged 9, 10 maybe) that catholic doctrine dictated that in a decision as to whether to save a baby's life or the mother's life - the baby would always be saved (first). My ex has the same mindset. I had an abortion shortly after we were married, early 1980s. The baby had birth defects incompatible with life outside the womb. We were sent to a military medical center, ex was an Army officer at the time. They did genetic testing, ultrasounds and xrays. They saw all that was wrong with the baby. i was 5 months pregnant. They told us and other documentation I've read supports the concept that carrying that baby to term would have threatened my life and baby would not have lived anyway.During delivery she came out in parts, one of the defects was the skull was missing. When we divorced over 25 years later, ex told the kids he regretted that decision. He thought the baby should have had a chance. ALL my daughters told him to STFU, that they were glad to be alive and have me alive to give birth to them.

I used to work Short Term Disability claims. I had a claimant that was a single woman over 70, her whole life was teaching. She had cancer and was taking chemo. She had treatments 4 days a week she was sick from the chemo for 6 days, she could no longer work. If she stopped the chemo she would die is what she told me. For me it wouldn't have been worth it, I'd have stopped chemo long ago.

He has pressured a foreign leader to interfere in the 2020 American presidential election. He urged a foreign country to intervene in the 2016 presidential election. He divulged classified information to foreign officials. He publicly undermined American intelligence agents while standing next to a hostile foreign autocrat. He hired a national security adviser who he knew had secretly worked as a foreign lobbyist. He encourages foreign leaders to enrich him and his family by staying at his hotels. He genuflects to murderous dictators. He has alienated America’s closest allies. He lied to the American people about his company’s business dealings in Russia. He tells new lies virtually every week — about the economy, voter fraud, even the weather. He spends hours on end watching television and days on end staying at resorts. He often declines to read briefing books or perform other basic functions of a president’s job. He has aides, as well as members of his own party in Congress, who mock him behind his back as unfit for office. He has repeatedly denigrated a deceased United States senator who was a war hero. He insulted a Gold Star family — the survivors of American troops killed in action. He described a former first lady, not long after she died, as “nasty.” He described white supremacists as “some very fine people.” He told four women of color, all citizens and members of Congress, to “go back and help fix the totally broken and crime-infested places from which they came.” He made a joke about Pocahontas during a ceremony honoring Native American World War II veterans. He launched his political career by falsely claiming that the first black president was not really American. He launched his presidential campaign by describing Mexicans as “rapists.” He has described women, variously, as “a dog,” “a pig” and “horseface,” as well as “bleeding badly from a facelift” and having “blood coming out of her wherever.” He has been accused of sexual assault or misconduct by multiple women. He enthusiastically campaigned for a Senate candidate who was accused of molesting multiple teenage girls. He waved around his arms, while giving a speech, to ridicule a physically disabled person. He has encouraged his supporters to commit violence against his political opponents. He has called for his opponents and critics to be investigated and jailed. Federal judge rules an anti-LGBTQ church can legally be called a ‘hate group’ / LGBTQ Nation

HippieChick58 replies on Sep 24, 2019:
A federal judge has ruled that an anti-LGBTQ Florida-based church, D. James Kennedy Ministries, can be labelled a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) as a matter of free speech. Although the court didn’t decide on whether the church itself is an actual hate group, the SPLC says the church “maligns the entire LGBT community.” The church and its corporate entity, Coral Ridge Ministries Media Inc., sought to sue the SPLC stating that the group “illegally trafficked in false and misleading descriptions of the services offered by [the group] and committed defamation against DJKM arising from the publication and distribution of false information that libels the ministry’s reputation.” The church also sought to sue the online retailer Amazon because the SPLC’s designation rendered it ineligible for charitable donations through Amazon’s giving programs, as well as GuideStar, an organization that connects donors and grant-makers to non-profit organizations, for dropping the church from its services. Judge Myron Thompson of the U.S. District Court in Montgomery, Alabama tossed out the lawsuit, basically stating that free speech rights allow the SLPC to label the church as a hate group if it wants. In a statement, SPLC President Richard Cohen said: “The fact that Coral Ridge claims its statements about the LGBT community are biblically based doesn’t immunize it from criticism. We have a First Amendment right to express our opinions, just as Coral Ridge has a right to express its opinions.” The Miami Herald reports that the church was named after mega-church pastor D. James Kennedy Ministries, a man who co-founded the Moral Majority, a politically influential lobby that successfully tied conservative politics to evangelical Christianity in the ’70s. Church spokesman John Rabe defended the ministry against the hate group designation, saying, “We believe that marriage is a central institution to society and it was ordained by God. [We] would not advocate any sort of violence or any sort of prejudice. We absolutely affirm equal rights for homosexuals and all other people. We believe in equal rights.” However, the SPLC says that every church on its anti-LGBTQ hate group list spreads anti-LGBTQ messages.
This is sad to have to post it, but it is also such good advice.

Given the theoretical time, I doubt whether or not she "enjoyed" it was a consideration. Given that it is an artists rendering, I am sure it is influenced by the belief system of the artist. Whether or not it is rape is not clear, she may have felt there was no other option, and honestly having that baby would have ensured her future so she may have consented. I don't think either of them necessarily enjoyed it.
