@Skeezwazzle I have lived in Omaha for 14 years this week. I don't really know anyone in my neighborhood, and the friends I have are working full time and who has time to hang out. My kids are all working full time plus have kids, and we make time for each other as we can. And it is winter so outdoor activities are iffy at best. So I spend lots of time online where I have a community and I know I can find someone to "talk" with.

@Hathacat One of the other neighbors has done the front sidewalk. I suspect said neighbor has to use that sidewalk to get to the mailbox, one of those 12 boxes on a pedestal deal. It is right beside my driveway. I think they've learned that I'm not quick to shovel. When I first moved here I worked 12 hour night shifts, and I don't think I saw daylight all winter.

I have read that he could be condescending and then there was the lust in his heart statement and the attack by a bunny. He is so much better than Drumpf, but I did not think highly of him when he was president. However, my age and lack of experience/wisdom may have had much to do with it.

And there were a few times when I would point it out to the gals I worked with, especially those senior to me. Own your statements. Good for you for giving him some guidance. He did come off as naive which is out of context for his stated age. However, if he is Autims/Aspergers then that would make sense. My former brother in law was a challenged individual but fairly independent. Sometimes he'd do stuff that just made us cringe. Life is harder for some.

When I was working my resting heart rate was uncomfortably high. Since I've been off it dropped, and then elevated again. I fixed that source of stress, and now it has dropped again, thank goodness.

Well, I feel somewhat better. I used to have a huge library. When I realized I had to move all those books by myself, plus needing the space for that many books, I quickly resold them. I still buy books, just not as many, and I visit my library much more frequently. And occasionally, or more than occasionally have overdue fines. Or take the books back without finishing them. Books, projects, who has time to work!

@twshield I usually fast from dinner to the next dinner. I fast for 24 hours but only really skip two meals. I can't sleep if I am hungry, so I choose to start after dinner. When I feel hungry during the day I drink water and find something to do, and that distracts me. Intermittent fasting is hotly debated in various communities. My trainer at my gym recommends against it. Others recommend for it. So I go by how I feel and how my numbers are doing. I'm no longer pre-diabetic, I feel good, and I'm losing body fat not muscle.
