What is on your life list (some refer to it as a bucket list) Climb Mt.
HippieChick58 comments on Sep 2, 2018:
I want to stand on the Equator, and chosen location at the moment is Cuenca, Eduador. I want to ride in a hot air balloon. I want to visit the US states that I haven't yet, which is only 4 or 5. I have been to Alaska but not Hawaii.
HippieChick58 replies on Sep 2, 2018:
@azzow2 I got to Alaska at O dark thirty in 1977 when I was on a MAC flight headed for Okinawa. We were offloaded to the terminal so they could refuel and restock the airplane. Not the greatest visit to Alaska, some day I'd like to do it up right.

@JenBeberstein The drug issue happens because so many drugs are illegally obtained or created. There is quite a bunch of money to be made in illicit drugs, that is the cost to society. I'm all for legal, regulated prostitution. If you are going to self harm you have to be where no one else can be effected, no children involved or witnessing. And yes, suicide as I said should be legal and assisted and definitely should not have criminal charges.

HippieChick58 replies on Sep 2, 2018:
@JenBeberstein There is or can be a cost to society for the drug usage. LSD trips from my childhood come to mind. Now the prostitution, I like the way the Germans do it, legal and regulated. Self harm can be an issue, it has mental health connections. Now suicide I think should be legal with some regulations. You don't want dead bodies showing up where they shouldn't or not being found for an extended period of time.
For better or worse.

HippieChick58 replies on Sep 1, 2018:
Lets put it into perspective. My mom died in 1972 from ovarian cancer. I was 14, she was 45. She never got to know my kids or any of her grandkids, nor her them. She never got to enjoy retirement or being a grandmother. When I was 40 I realized that could be my last decade... I got a divorce right around the time I was 50. I am now 60. I have grandchildren and it is totally amazing. I have no idea when I'm going to die, but I have outlived my mom. I beat the odds. Yeah, I'm not crazy about ratcheting up more years, but it was a privilege denied to my mom and so many others, I'm going to enjoy it and relish it. My life would have been totally different if she lived. Her death made me who I am. And I will live my life as fully as I can in part for her. Another birthday, bring it on. I can handle it! Yeah, I am sure I will die sometime, no one gets out of this life alive. But while I'm living I will live!

Just that damn health insurance.

HippieChick58 comments on Aug 28, 2018:
