Then when my job spun out of control and I was working a crap ton of overtime I stopped taking classes. Now that the job is over I am going to be taking weekly classes, and since I have time I have started to get regular walks in as well.

Making smaller batches more frequently is just annoying. :) I grew up cooking for 8 so I can do big batches. And not sharing meals, I want something I can take out of the kitchen. I bought a pair of Nikes deliberately to add my $.02 to the discussion. I do support CP, I do support BLM. I don't like brand names as a general rule, and Nike's business practices are questionable, but I will happily piss off conservatives.

@agnosticbuddhist And last night I heard from my Humanist group that the Conservatives are now claiming Birkenstocks as their shoe. No freaking way!! LOL! Birks have been worn by the hippies since the beginning of time. I have at least 3 pair in my closet.

I'm not "scheduled" to retire for a while, but because my ex just retiring and I was a SAHM while we were married I get part of his retirement. I wasn't sure when I was going to get it, and I got a letter from the Railroad Retirement Board last week, and they said give us your direct deposit or lose it. I sent the DD info that night. Since I was losing my job anyway, and wanted to leave the job, I took it as a sign it was time. I will have income, now I need to figure out some insurance.

@GreatNani Or three or four or five days. I need my stress levels to come down before I regularly read the news again. I haven't watched it in years. I don't want to be fed the news, I want to select what I want to read about. As far as I am concerned Sports and Entertainment are not worth my attention. I don't care about the Kardashians, or singers shaving their heads. Also, commercials! I think America has been made dumber by commercials.

@John-Paul I kinda jumped the gun and have rushed it a bit. I "think" it is going work, but I have some contingency plans just in case. I still don't have complete information, but I had to leave the last job and one of my kids is having surgery, has a 5 month old baby, and I knew I will be needed. So I decided the time was right and I'm so freaking ready. I figure I will reevaluate in late October or November and see how things are going.

We want good people, that is what matters. I tell my kids all the time how proud of them I am. And when SamSam and Austin are old enough to understand I will tell them the same.
